Oh, the giant "tinker toys." I was lucky enough to see the NYC Radio City show. And those things stole the show. In person, they were immensely impressive. So glad to have a record of 1986.

it's funny because this song isn't on any of the greatest hits cds. it was never a single, but could have easily been put out as a single. there are so many great songs from DM. i have a hard time choosing just 1 ultimate song. this is up there though. i think i have about 40 favorite DM songs.

Superb performance: incredible how this stand-out song was never released as an A-side single. Having done so would likely converted many in the UK particularly who, like myself, had DM penned as a light electronic pop outfit. A true glimpse of the shimmering potential within.

Ok so this is 1986.Killer song no doubt but it kinda amazes me that even at this stage it seems like Fletch is along for the ride ie he does next to nothing in this song except jump around.Weird.

XO Armendariz I thought Fletch was just a naturally bouncy fellow. I hadn't considered the possibility that he might have been on some recreational substance.
Oh yeah, he has always been like that. However, just saying he seems to be even more spastic than usual. As far as I know, he just might have been more excited than usual and was really getting into it...
It may not be very likely, but I think that Fletcher's spasticity is due to the death of her sister who died in 1986 (possibly).

Мне показалось,что там Аллан? Это одна из из лучших композтжиций Мартина и ДМ. За исключением Дейва. Его голос, несомненно, уникален. Но и проспал он его и всю группу феноменально. Спасибо ,хоть старая запись, и не пришлось созерцать его в тужурке, полуголым. Печальное зрелище😢
