Field Hockey Defense - Explanation in description

The difference between ok players and good players is deception.
As most players understand, if I look right and pass left, I can deceive the defender(s) for a split second allowing me to execute the pass.
Conversely, the same thing can be done defensively. For example, I identify where the ball carrier wants to pass, then leave the passing lane open by placing my stick and/or body in the opposite channel. As the ball carrier's body movement and stick angle lean in to deliver a pass, I turn my stick over at the last moment and intercept. This has been executed at 14sec, 39sec, 55sec.
