Thanks so much! Appreciate you subscribing and happy to have you following along.
Are you currently in north Platte?
Yessir I am, headed through to do some fishing in the area then a few days on the slopes at Breck!
Caught an absolute monster rainbow today under Ogallala 👀
Beutiful video man. But for learnig purpuses , what fishing gear did You use that day to fish those stripper.
Appreciate it!! We were using 2/0 (I think?) circle hooks and 40ish pound mono leader and just drifting those eels after tail hooking them 👍🏼
The best thing about eels is that there super easy to fish. What size circle hooks? 6/0, 7/0???
They really are, just toss them out there and let um drift! I think they were 6/0 circles but I’m not 100% positive, it was a while ago.
Awesome video man! Where exactly in Marthas Vineyard was that? I def want to try that spot out !
Thanks for watching! If you go to Anglr website and go to the tour page you’ll be able to see details from where these trips were. I don’t remember the exact location but it’s on that website.
Man I always wanted to hook up with one of them. I always miss them by a hour or so living in the North East We do have stripers in the Ohio River they look just like white Bass but a lot more bigger are they good eaters because the white bass is delicious. Funny I used Leaches for catching huge Walleyes or lampreys same as a elee
Saltwater striper are just a whole different beast compared to fresh. Its pretty crazy how many ways there are to catch them. But yeah the Leach is basically the shortened version! Same idea 🤙🏼Thanks for watching!
