I'm still very angry that Justice Clarence Thomas did not recuse himself from this when his own wife was involved/had a role on Jan. 6th. He has skin in the game in a way. He was even the first Justice to ask a question in the argument hearing. No morals with him.

I am feeling good about the election. I voted Blue Saturday in red Indiana. On my way out, I told a Dem volunteer, "We got this, tRump is going to see the power of women voters". He said he has been volunteering for 15 years and has had more Dems than he ever has seen before at our polling place. Can't wait for November to vote straight Blue again! 😊🎉

There will be residual effects from this mess for a long time. I saw Mitch McConnell on TV this morning. There must be major fighting going on in the Senate. He didn't say anything bad out loud but he still sounds like he wants trump to be charged but just won't say so out loud. That party is crumbling right in front of our eyes. McConnell sounds like he's still going to be objecting to trumps nonsense. He was on a morning political show. CBS and I can't remember the name of the show. He said the party is far behind what the issues are.

I write from New York. I have been appalled by the unfolding of events in light of our 2016 election. I didn’t realize the extent to which millions in America could rally around the obvious evil represented by Trump. The situation seems to be a litmus test for our country, and I hope and pray that we get through it with our constructive values intact.

I saw Mitch McConnell on TV this morning. CBS. He did not come out and say it but he will not give trump his way no matter if he wins or not. He also called out Tucker for the whole mess that is going on in his party. Flat out blamed those two for the state our country is in . Also for the delay of giving Ukraine assistance. He said they are months behind in laws and progress.
But didn’t he already endorse Trump? Give me a break. Oh well, I am sure they all get their arms twisted to do so.

GOP upholds and has allegiance to party over rule of law - constitution. They are working to reverse the current amendments and reinterpretation of the first 13 sections back to the 19th century values. Our nation must move forward rather than reverse with Project 2025 - a corporate manifesto.

My beloved stepfather and I discussed the afterlife a lot as he became more ill. He didn't quite buy into it (very Catholic, didn't think he was good enough, etc.). He was very stuck on "who" he should go to first when he crossed: his first wife or my mother, both of whom had passed. He was really, REALLY fixated on this because he loved them both. I meditated upon it and saw that each of them would take his hand to help him cross peacefully. When I told him, he visibly relaxed and was gone within 12 hrs. Such a powerful moment for me. Plus, I heard him in my head, laugh and say, "That was easy!"

Strong ethics laws need to be passed in Congress on the Supreme Court Judges who have been receiving bribes and are not following the Constitution. Senator WhiteHouse has been writing proposals for strong ethics laws. Once the Democrats have the Congress again major changes will occur. Women rights and voter rights will be on the agenda.

Most people think they'll send it back down to judge chutkin, if they do she can call an evidentiary hearing and make both sides show all the evidence without a jury and it could be a good idea.

As an American, it hurts my heart to see the Court so tarnished. I hope the voters do turn things around and then we can work on cleaning up the Court, among many other things!
