@@blove88 Have you've already forgotten? Sonya died in the very first chapter. Revenant Liu Kang trapped her under fallen debris so she ordered Cassie to pull back before setting off a bomb to destroy Shinnok's tower.
The Sonya we meet later is the past version, brought into the present time along with others when Kronika tried to reset time but didnt have enough power to do so

She will be one of my mains (to play with) ..but stiII sucks they kiIIed her in the story (well ..not 100 % since she still lives in Jerrod / soul wise ..but I still wanted her alive and fuIIy pIayable even for that future MK2 game. She may return or being resurrected once again ..but now we talk especially about this MK1 Sindel) 😁

Man, it's just so infuriating how they killed her again, here. I mean when she's not mind controlled she's dead... Well, I'm glad at least she finally resembles Kitana and she's good again! And she had some awesome fighting scenes, of course.
Not only that. They really made Milena being kitana’s sister work this time. I really love this time line
We finally get Sindel we wanted all these years, a loving mother and wife, a just, firm ruler. And then they kill her.. what a sad joke, you done fucked up Ed and Co.
One good thing that came out of this situation is that Mileena is an Empress now and seemingly looks stable and fights her disease, so hopefully she will be an interesting character in MK II.
Especially since they used her own shitty retcon to do it. Just feels like a middle finger to the eye.

Well she is killed probably to be resurrected by Quan Chi again sadly, this basically puts her into a position similar to her previous incarnations. If history is trending back to what it was then she might be revived to give Shao Kahn's potential rule over outworld the legitimacy it needs, so we might have evil Sindel back.

3:19 The palace looks like a blend of the Taj Mahal architecture and Tibetan architecture. It seems like Outworld/Edenia has a mixture of East Asian, Indian and Middle Eastern designs, especially with Outworlds fashions.

10:50 to 12:13 I really love this part. One of the best part in this animatory, not our usual graphic when they are having a conversation they look dead. But this one, is a chef kiss, I loved how Sindel look pissed when raised her eyebrows, her lips and how annoyed she was.

Thats the 3rd time they had Evil Sindel fold the main cast (and catch bodies in the process). I'd say she's probably the most lethal antagonist in the modern era (I know she didn't start out that way, dont even bother arguing)

@@geenalawrence8338 MK11 Aftermath. She, Shao Khan and Shang Tsung manhandled pretty much the entire cast in that one. Sindel alone kills Sheeva, Kung Lao, Jade, Jade's Revenant and Kitana's Revenant in that one.
It was just a call back to that retarded shock value scene in MK9. Which thanks to time travel and multiple timelines is even more pointless.

Look at 10:51, where the dynamic between Sindel and Shao unfolds. I usually love Mortal Kombat, but this is definitely a highlight. This part reminds me of the golden days when Game of Thrones hadn't ruined itself and Tywin Lannister. Idk why people complain they make female characters 'ugly' these days, Sindel and the others look absolutely gorgeous! My only complain on the outfits is that they have a lot of unnessesary tiny straps n details that make them look a bit cluttered, but otherwise i don't see an issue there

I honestly didn’t mind her death. I’m glad she went out the way she attended. Had she had the opportunity to sacrifice herself for her husband, Outworld, or daughter, she’d do it in an instant.
At least this time she served her empire, protected Outworld, and saved her family/friends.
Sindel is my favorite character from any media. In many ways I think she has a lot in common with the newest iteration of Kratos. For the parent aspect of course, but also by being a ancient almost god-like creature but having such humane emotional conflict within.
And I also like that she's more asian inspired in the newest game, because I always thought that she had an air of asian empress.

In kung lao's world. He is a keeper of time and kitana from his world loves johnny cage and end up having cassie cage. Sonya and jax end up together and had jacqui as sonya is jacqui's mother. liu kang became the kung lao and kuai liang is the liu kang while liu kang is bi han's brother and scorpion is a cyborg and sektor is the leader of the shirai ryu. Raiden becomes the leader of the lin kuei

Her retcon in MK11 Aftermath was sloppy on NRS's part.
Love Sindel, but I also love the supportive relationship Liu Kang has toward Raiden and the rest of Outworld as well. He really tried his best to bridge the differences between the realms. Sindel was a critical part of that plan, because she desires peace, and she is willing to fight for it. The opposite of Shao Khan❤
