Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a 335-acre (136 ha) animal theme park located in Tampa, Florida, United States, with the entire park landscaped and designed around themes of Africa and Asia. Owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, the park opened on June 1, 1959. The park has an annual attendance consistently exceeding 4 million, often ranking second among SeaWorld parks behind SeaWorld Orlando. The park features many roller coasters and thrill rides, including a Dive Coaster called SheiKra, a "family-style" thrill coaster themed around cheetahs called Cheetah Hunt, a launched roller coaster called Tigris, a classic seated steel roller coaster called Kumba, a wood-steel hybrid hypercoaster called Iron Gwazi, Falcon's Fury (the second-tallest free-standing drop tower in North America, and one of few to tilt and face riders towards the ground), and Montu, which was the tallest and fastest inverted roller coaster in the world when it opened. The park also features several rides and attractions aimed for children under the age of nine, as well as two water rides - a river rafting ride and a classic log flume.

So many attractions discontinued that were awesome. Bird Show, Marrakesh Theatre, Dolphin Show, Rhino Rally, Tanganyika Tidal Wave, Questor, Katanga, Marching Band and so much more.
Anyone else watching this to decide if it's worth going? I was looking for exactly a channel like this
What was your decision?
If you love coasters, it's definitely worth it
Well worth it...
Oh well I am going in a few days I am just seeing the amazing fun that I will have there!
I am going tomorrow!
I haven’t been to Busch Gardens in YEARS. I want to go back so bad!!!
Do it. You won't be disappointed! 😁
@@themepark101 I will someday. My only problem is that my parents are hesitant to let me come with Thomas and his friends for this year’s Howl-O-Scream.
One thing I definitely learned about this park is of how African theme it is. Love that. Gonna have my 1st trip in 2 weeks.
Have fun! I'm sure you'll have a great time! 😁
@@themepark101UPDATE 2023.10: Loved the park! The quality is just there and the operations are definitely better than any Six Flags park. Iron Gwazi, Cheetah Hunt and SheiKra are my favorite coasters there. And I really love the constant animal exhibits everywhere. Alligators, cheetahs, orangutans, and much more! I went on a heavy rain day but still managed to get a really good day out of it since the weather eventually got better a few hours before closing. It was a really good visit. And snagged 9 more credits to my coaster count! Obviously I would love more coasters but that safari animals exhibit is a MUST and I don't want them removing their safari land. Love the park and really recommend it!
Thanks for the update! 😁😁@@SydeLeaderRay
When I lived in Florida, I lived 30 minutes away from Busch Gardens Tampa, and my mom and I used to go all the time. Sadly we moved to the other side of the country a year before Iron Gwazi opened, and we were both anticipating its opening.
I remember used to be terrified of roller coasters that go upside down, until my mom convinced me to go on Kumba, and my dad convinced me to go on Cheetah Hunt
Absolutely Awesome

I love your videos so much
Thanks for your support! 😀
I love the coasters here!
I ❤ that park
We went there on a class trip our 8th grade year back in 2016. Very nostalgia and historic night for many.
Pro tip, if your going on a day with a chance of rain, or at least know that there will be rain, bring a poncho, come time to leave, trams don’t start running for a while, and lines add up, leading to some walking.
Thanks for the tip! 😄
I can't wait I am going there soon
Awesome! Hope you have a great trip! 😀
This you Demi
They’re having great deals now btw!
Unless you’re a coaster junkie don’t waste your money. We used to go for the shows and the animals both of which have eliminated or downsized. Even the Busch Gardens horses have been taken out years ago. Figures, it’s owned by Blackrock now!
Blackstone own it, not Blackrock. Totally different organisations.
@@jonnymillard3085
Well I guess where both wrong. It’s owned by “Seaworld Parks & Entertainment”. Regardless their prices have skyrocketed and their shows and animal attractions are crap!
i mean, it’s a theme park…
It’s 3 times less busy than any other park in Florida. Coasters are where it’s at not some overpriced experience at Disney
It's good I went there so many times 😁 it's not spending money it's having fun
I get to in less than two weeks and I'm so excited
Awesome. Hope you have a great trip! 😀
Please let us know if it’s worth the $$$ or the hype. We’re on the fence
@@KemmyKemo7
Stay on the fence, it’s nothing like it used to be.
We ended up going. It’s ok nothing spectacular. My teenagers prefer Cedar Point Sandusky OH. It’s the same $. Glad I got the tickets on sale because I would have been more upset if had paid full price 😏
My home park. Such a phenomenal place with amazing roller coasters and awesome rides such as the train and Falcon’s Fury. One of my favorite parks for sure.
Can't believe so many folks skip it while visiting central Florida. Definitely worth a visit! 😁
going on the 2nd of june for my early bday! im SOOO excited! (went to bgt like 4 times before)
Awesome! Hope you have a great birthday at BGT! Have fun!
Today me and my family are going to Busch gardens Tampa
💖
I'm going here in June for the first time the Busch Gardens in Williamsburg is my home park but I’m very excited to be visiting the second one. 😊
Awesome. If you like BGW, you'll love Tampa too!
I will.also be there
Been there 1989
Awesome. What would you say is the biggest change since 1989?
So in California there’s electric ele at SeaWorld San Diego it the exact same as Tigris
Rip sand serpent
Going for the first time this May the 29th. A little upset with myself for planning a trip there during Florida’s wet season. Hopefully I don’t get rained out! I’ve been wanting to come here since I was a child lol.
Awesome. I hope the weather holds up for you and you have a great trip! 😀
Iron Gwazi has 3 inversions
I thuoght falcon's fury was closed?
I’m thinking about buying tickets to take my kid here
Thanks for watching. Busch Gardens Tampa is a great choice. Don't forget to check out my link in the description to save on tickets. 😁
Im going on a field trip here 5th grade may 21st 2024 les go
Awesome. Hope you have a great field trip!
It's a shame. In 1978 my Aunt took us to Florida. We went to Disney back when they were on a Ticket Packet and enjoyed it, but we LOVED Busch Gardens. But now you are missing a lot of the magic. A Park should not just offer Roller Coasters. There should be a variety of rides and attractions. You're missing the Magic you used to have. Shows. I'd love to see more shows than an ice show. I hope Busch Gardens takes all of this during thier massive renovations. Unless you are into thrill rides, there's not much left. Sorry. Fail,
I think sea serpent has gone. Didn’t see it on our visit this week
Yes, you're right. Literally the week after I posted the video, they closed the attraction! 🙃
Is there a place to put your bags when on the rides? Also is the parking free?
Parking is $30 per car
Can you do restaurant guides for Universal parks?
It's on the my 'to do' list, but typically, my restaurant guides don't too well on the algorithm. Once I have more free time at the end of the year, I will definitely consider it! 😁
When you ride the cheeta it seems like your gonna fall off
No
@SuperKing-er3hk that’s called airtime genius. It’s a negative g force that throws you out of your seat, it’s a completely normal force. I just Reride cheetah hunt a few days ago, and it felt mild with a couple good moments
I been ever were in florida universe fun spot bush gardens sea world Lego land island of adventure by bush gardens gator land
Umm grammar please??
Is ice show included in entrance cost?
Yes, it's included. 😁
no
Do seaworld san Diego
or?
Legoland Dubai
@@aronidmartinez2514 he meant like “or” like “what are you gonna do if I dont
@@aronidmartinez2514Leogland Orlando instead
The scorpion isn't the oldest roller coaster. The python is.
And where is it?
Python closed in 2006. The Scorpion is the oldest operating coaster in the park.
@@themepark101 Thanks for the reply.
I'm thinking about going in October ( never been ) and I'm curious on how long the line waits are for the coasters on average?
October isn't usually too busy unless its during the weekends or holidays. You should be able to do most or even all of the coasters in one day. Typical wait times will be about 20-45 mins, with Iron Gwazi around 60 mins.
@@themepark101 Thank you so much
@@themepark101 what's the waiting time for rides this time of year January and February do I need to get flash passes?
Its kinda went down hill since the Busch company owned it
Have to agree with that- Does not seem the same any more. To much attention on rides and not enough on attractions....
