    why is every one being so negative? this kid is 13 and who cares if he is being expressive? He did very well for his age.

    Very expressive playing and a lot more body movement than I ever witnessed from any other clarinetist. Nice to hear From the Top feature a woodwind player!

    I mean really guys can you not criticize it's profusely annoying. yeah he moves around a lot but I think he did great so can you like not point out tiny things you just want to put him down to make yourself feel higher and its really annoying me. you can think whatever but don't point out the little things. be proud of the child prodigy. i know hes doing something great these days.

    He was playing his high notes a bit airy but otherwise he is very talented and I can tell he has been practising unlike other clarinettists fantastic expression all he needs to do is to work on how hard he blows

      I think when u mean unlike other clarinetista you mean me :) like for me it would be impossible to play that I can’t even play low to high in that speed he is going

    He is just as old as I am and we play it almost exactly the same way (but he has a wider dynamic range than I do) He plays so well!!

    Lots of room for improvements here. First thing I would start on is moving him on to 1/2 strength softer reeds.

    also he skipped a whole section it might just be the music but idk

    • @SabriiAnderson
      @SabriiAnderson 8 років тому

      +Amy Zhou He might have done it either because in his studies (because he is only thirteen) performing the Concertino without that particular variation was easier for him, or because the show only needed so much material for him to perform on the show. Technically he did skip the (3rd?) variation and the slow portion, it was more than likely just more convenient for the show
