- This algebra video tutorial explains how to add and subtract rational expressions with like denominators. You simply need to add or subtract the numerators of the fractions. Don't forget to distribute the negative sign. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems.

Thank you so much! i was really struggling with this lesson but you explained it in a way that makes it seem easy to do

I’ve fallen in love with your voice
I thought i was the only one? I asked to see the face behind dat delicious voice, but no response yet. Will still patiently wait.
@@sunshinecity8273chill bro 😭😭😭
MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for another helpful video/lecture Adding and Subtracting Rational Expressions with the same Denominators in Algebra/College Algebra. These examples are similar to adding numbers with the same denominators.
dawg like wtf I understood every single thing this guy said while my teacher literally confused the living shit out of me
Bro u made it so simple while my school made me so confused.
Theres gotta be faster than that, he solve it so fast i cant even keep up 💀
Am I the only one that's falling inlove with the voice? ;-;
The voice is SOOOOO good
Me-
Damn your voice so fineeeee lmao
Thank you for this explanation, May God Bless You and His Peace Be Upon You Always!
this is really helpful. thanks
Thank you so much now i know how subtract it
Could you please do a video on equilibrium

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Yo u still alive?
It was awesome
I understood
jesus this is so simple compare to the unlike denominators which is 20x harder than this XD
can you tell me, what if the denominator is trinomial like this: x²+5x+6 do I need to factor that out or just copy it?
I don't get it why u need to distribute the - sign
What if its 5x²
How Do you get the 4?
How did u get the 4 and 1?
thanks
In quedtion 3. how did the answer become 3(4x-1)
----
X+2
Well, the numerator has x² something, what to do with it?
So what happens if you have different exponents ?! Do you just add or keep the same ?
what if the first part of the given is two letters with no numbers?
At 0:46 where did you get the (x + 1)
7x+7 was divided by the gcf(witch is 7) so it became 7(x+1)
yo this lil tecca before he sang Ransom LOL
Can you please explain how 7 (x+1) happened?
simplyfying the answer, he divide the common factor in 7x+7, which is 7 so 7 divide by 7x becomes x, then 7 divide by 7 becomes 1 so 7(x+1)
Ehat do i do if theres a ^n
What of if the denominator is not the same in the equation
how did you get positive 12 when the expression started out with a negative 12?
Because you do the opposite. When he said "the negative applys to (5X-12) you need to change the variables. Into the opossite, If its negative its positive.
since 7x+7 can still be simplified using CMF or factoring using GCF
@@Drea-fq4lo yeah 7x + 7 can still be simplified, their gcf is 7 so you'll take out the 7 which will make it like this
7 ( x + 1), when you distribute 7 to the numbers in the parenthesis, it will come out as 7x + 7 so it's correct
@@formx9796 when do you apply it? what if it's a positive,do you change the sign to negative?
ur voice sounds like levi from aot
lmao u simpin?
How did you get the 1?
7 divided by 7
This dude is the reason I passed 7th grade lmao
someone help me pleaseeeeeeeeee. in the last problem where did -5x and 3x go?
it turned into -2x
can someone please explain how did that became the final answer instead of just 7x+7? please
common monomial factoring i think. 7 and 7 has a gcf which is 7. and 7 divided by 7 is 1 so 7(x+1)
@@umopapisdn. why is that necessaryyyyy
someone please tell me, in 1:48, where did (4x-1) came from
He simplified 12x-3
@@cjanthonyladica8137 oh okay thank u
Np
it is the easy way to write they are the same 3(4x-1)means 3 x 4 is 12 and 3 x 1 is 3
7/x - 11/x = -4/x
how did it become +12
0:44 I don't get it how the heck did it become (x+1) ? 😭
You just factored out a 7. Before it’s 7x+7 when you take 7 out, then it becomes 7(x+1) and if you distribute that you come back to 7x+7
Ratio
i still dont get it pls help me
HELLO ANGELITES KAYA NYO YAN
Foil Method or not?
foil method is different
In 7x and 5x why is the answer "12x" and not twelve x squared?
Because it’s an addition problem, not multiplication, so you don’t have to add up the variables.
Why'd the 12 became - ?
my head hurts
Your so fast i cant keep up
I failed my test and i haveto do my lackings
My denominator is 3 and 5
then it's not similar RAE, it's dissimilar one.
0:11
0:50
😊
i need help it would be nice if ANYBODY can help: 8x+7/y^2-8 - -7x-5/y^2-8
i really dont understand this plz help me
solution:
8x+7/y^2-8 - -7x-5/y^2-8
combine similar terms:
8x-7x+7-5/y^2-8
= x + 2/y^2-8
You make it look easier, but it's not😭
i really wish your voice was louder
3+-10 is -7 yours is two
I still dont understand im just relying on my intuition at this point
I REGRET WHAT I SAID THAT LAST ONE SOMEHOW SOMEHOW MADE ME REALISE HOW EASY IT IS LIKE WTF
All my suffering gone in a split second and came back cause i realised i need to do this 20 more times
i hate math 🥺 it's not for me i always get 2 out of 15 sometimes 4 out of ten can someone help me out pls

Whos here because their math teacher doesn't wanna put in the effort to teach?
My math teacher does, except no matter how much she explains, even giving out some tiny details, I still don't understand
She is genuinely patient, and would try to help those who got the wrong answer to help them understand better
