Thank you for the info, I bought Rome apples today and to my surprise after I cut it in half it was pretty red inside at the core, I thought that it could had being tampered and injected with blood. Its scared me!! But now I'm resting after readying your and other other governmental info about it. So I'll enjoy them instead of trashing them.
People instinctively prefer to eat fruits and vegetables with bright colors, because vibrant coloring is a sign that the food contains healthy nutrients. Growers sometimes capitalize on our instinct to select colorful food by enhancing the color of fruits and vegetables with dyes that are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Decide for yourself but YES these apples have been dyed. Some dyes can cause a severe allergic reaction, called anaphylactic shock.
This is weird. I've never _ever_ had a Mac that was red inside, until today. It also looked nothing like a MacIntosh, and was far milder than the normally slightly tart flavor. The texture I would consider overripe.
Thanks sir half an hour ago i brought 2 kg apple for grandpa, when i cut it, look shallow red inside, now i am confident that the reason behind it. Love from india❤
Thank you! I peeled a SweeTango that had a nasty soft spot on it and inside was a deep pink, wasn't sure if it was the result of the cut (and bruise) on the outside or if it was normal (and good to eat!) I'm enjoying it right now, thanks again!

This happened a few minutes ago with an Affy Tapple, and I was a little worried whoever they bought their apples from was dying them to sell more. It tasted regular but looked like my gums were bleeding every time I took a bite. They weren't. ;)
Mines red like when I bite into my apple it looks like I had bloody teeth and the blood went onto my apple. (I checked my mouth just in case) is it the same reasoning? Edit: never mind 😂 thank you
Farmers are full of it. I have never seen apples red on the inside, never. This is apparently a new phenomenon. This is something recent and new. If this isn't something recent or new, then why is there a need to explain it? I am 64 years old, and I have never heard that it is normal for apples to look like they are bleeding on the inside, or look like they have been died. They are doing all sort of things to our food these days and then making the hard sell to explain why this is all of a sudden ok. People accept it when they see a video on it on UA-cam. Misinformation over the Internet is really making people dumb because they no longer have to think for themselves, but instead have other people do their thinking for them. Please give me a break. One more thing. Apples no longer taste the same. They are not sweet anymore. Now some dumb as farmer please explain that. Why are apples no longer sweet?

😂 me to just now
Thanks for the info! I almost threw my apple out! I’m glad I didn’t.
