  • The vibrant and colorful Cinco de Mayo Parade took place along Lincoln Blvd. in Venice on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Sponsored by the City of Los Angeles, the parade was a celebration of Mexican-American culture and heritage.
The parade featured marching bands, dancers, and other performers, all decked out in festive attire. The participants paid homage to the rich traditions and history of Mexico, showcasing their pride in their heritage.
As the parade made its way down Lincoln Blvd., spectators lined the streets, cheering and waving Mexican flags. Many onlookers joined in the festivities, dancing and singing along with the performers.
The event provided a space for the local Mexican-American community to come together and celebrate their culture. It also served as an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to learn about and appreciate the diversity of the city.
The Cinco de Mayo Parade has become an important annual event in Venice, and one that brings joy and celebration to the community. The City of Los Angeles' sponsorship of the event highlights the importance of recognizing and supporting the diverse cultural traditions that make up the fabric of our society.

@@eddiecruzito5066 It’s a state of Puebla thing, they won the war over the French
The other states of Mexico don’t celebrate maybe because they didn’t participate in the war
