As my favourite character, I'm happy to say I've rewatched Barbossa's song over and over, the added darkness to it makes it so much better its so well done!!
I absolutely adore how the title cards to each song are laid out like the opening of an old black and white film. The music itself is stunning, but the visual editing is truly a masterpiece all on its own.
Barbossa’s theme is so well done. It’s rare that such an iconic original can be successfully made into such a unique and different sound 👏 love Beckett’s and the rest too!
There's also a more obscure villain in the old POTC Online game by the name of Jolly Roger. He's basically a walking version of the Jolly Roger skull from the POTC Ride and the POTCO players have come to love and hate him at the same time. And he's got a more interesting beef with Jack.

YES YES YES!!!!!!! ALL INCREDIBLE!!! I may be biased but Blackbeards was my favourite by far! I loved the subtle higher bits you weaved in when the main chunk of his theme started, it really fits his dominating, cruel persona... Amazing work!!!!
This was amazing. I'll give my thoughts on the songs: Hector's theme, Salazar's theme and Joaquin Phoenix's theme were my top favorites. Hector's sounded the most nostalgic to me because that's the one I remember the most after Salazar's theme, and it also sounded very heroic, which is fitting for his character. Salazar's had Johnny Cash's cover of Ain't No Grave, so that was a plus. It also sounded like a supervillain who was killed by the hero, but 50 years later, he rises from the dead to face his son, which is kinda like what he did with Morgan and Jack. Joaquin Phoenix's sounded the most naval, due to his recent role in Napoleon, where he sails on a few boats. Davy Jones's theme sounds like a shattered soul trying to put itself back together, but everyone keeps on crushing it, so the soul goes on a rampage, and decides to crush any soul he finds. Blackbeard's theme fits his dark nature (Get it? Because his name is Blackbeard? Black?), and I'm really happy you made it like that. Cutler Beckett's was pretty naval sounding, and sounded like cogs working in the mind, thinking of a plan to get pirates extinct.
I'm really loving these versions of yours, I can't stop listening to these masterpieces day and night! Even the video is a pleasure to see when you're in the middle of the night and you want a full immersion experience. I hope you're including Harry Potter's films in your next pubblications. I'm really thrilled at the idea of how you could reinterpret some of my favourites tracks like "Buckbeak's flight", "Lily's Theme" and "Dueling the Basilisk"😍

Now i'm 41 and my children love thé entire series and thé music is pure art and timeless. I also quote a lot of lines from barbossa, Davy Jones and Salazar after all these years😂. Two small corrections the score for Dead Men Tell No Tales was scored by Geoff Zanelli and Davy Jones’s theme is featured in Dead Man’s Chest. Otherwise. Amazing! Whatever people say about the films, the scores have been consistently good.
Barbossa's theme is devious but at the same time very adventurous because at the end of the day he's not so different from Jack. Becket's theme is orderly and almost simplistic, the exact opposite of Jack Davy Jones is brutal but at the same time tragic
I’m not sure slowing & lowering Beckett’s theme (by a half octave?) was the best choice for him as he’s not really a ‘dark’ villain but rather calculated & imperial

Captain Barbossa is one of the best characters in series. Geoffery Rush just nails the ruthlessness and swagger of true, smart, sadistic pirate.
