Hi Richard loved watching your video, beautiful place, so pleased for you to have such a lovely place to camp, looking forward to the next one 😊💝🏴 xxxx
I've canoed the Caledonian on 3 occasions - you will enjoy. Remember to factor in a spare day as I have been stuck for 24 hours because of high winds. A jury rigged sail can be useful if the winds are not too strong. Keep telling yourself as you cross Loch Ness that Nessie is a myth.
I can always count on you, Richard, to make me hungry! That steak looked absolutely delicious! What a blessing your neighbor let you camp on his land :) thankyou for sharing your outing :)
Hi guys I got into wild camping and bushcraft last year just before I had a stroke. I’m getting walking slowly. Can’t wait to get back out in the woods. Keep the vids up
Hello Richard, Great video. What a superb location, it looks fantastic. Good luck with the canoe course I'm sure you'll master that no trouble. Keep up the good work and thanks. Cheers Mel Clarke
Great to see you both hooking up and getting to know each other before coming paddle buddies, now which one of you will be at the back 🤔. Great shoutout to the cause Richard, thank you for that and thank you for all the effort you have put in this week with regards to promoting the event and also the Just Giving page. We’ve had a stead flow of very kind people donating this week which as been top to watch each morning when I wake up. Top camp and top food, great idea with the potato’s 👍
Oh how I laughed when I saw your red knit cap that looks just like Simon's green one!! Another enjoyable video Richards! Nice to meet your friend Simon. Looking forward to the canoe adventure video when that happens! Cheers!
Great video, What a beautiful spot to spend a night under the stars !! There's something about the sound of running water, very therapeutic. The steak looked lovely i'm jealous lol..🤣👍
Congratulations on your permission Richard, and with a stream as well! Its great to be able to go somewhere you don't have to be hiding out and looking over your shoulder 👍🏻👍🏻. I know absolutely nothing about fishing so I would love to see you do a video on a minimal fishing kit for the complete noob.
Hi Richard, I've just bought one of those water bottles. They are great and seem to be well made. Another plus is the decent discount on them which is great. Thanks for the recommendation...😀👍
I like the look of those mods to the mark1 stove. Funnily enough, I’d sought advice from Richard on upgrading mine that I’d bought from him and still hadn’t had a reply back yet!
I reply to all emails. Perhaps yours slipped through the net. Please send again (probably worth contacting me directly, rather than a public chest poke?).
Richard, I was wondering if you felt a little 'light' headed last night. However, after seeing you dispense the disappearing orbs I surmised that you dwelt with the problem appropriately. lol Looking forward to tagging along on the canoe trip and Mr. Eardley looks like he might keep you from drowning. 🛶💦
Spot on my friend - that little river spot is ideal!! Thank you for the shout out - I was saying to april that I had a little flurry of subs - must have been after your shout Much appreciated my friend The meat made my mouth water - your food is the best Atb keep well 🤙
Hi mate just popped over from my mate's channels RickT Outdoor Adventure & Ant survive the night and give you a sub there great lads you will have a gear Adventure I look forward to seeing more of your video's atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
The food looked really good guys! Had to chuckle at the blood pudding, which is shocking for most Americans. My parents are German and we would eat thin sliced "blutwurst" cold on rye bread with butter and a little mustard. Never have cooked blood pudding like you brits do. Cheers!
Good to see you up and posting Richard. That spot could not be more perfect. I expected the sheep to come bed down with y'all . I have to admit that y'all on that side of the pond ,no how to properly do beef. That steak looked fantastic. And the fire trough Mods looked great. Going to get me one, as soon as this crazy covid business goes away.
Great to see you two together! I have enjoyed watching Simon’s channel for some time now, being an avid wildlife photographer, and commented on his last video that I thought I was watching Richard Outdoors as he had one of your fire troughs. How little did I know! 😁
A beautiful place, camping heaven. That looked like a ninja turtle carapace rather than a backpack !. Fly rod was missing though 😉 I thoroughly enjoyed this, thank you Richard, you two make a good team, good luck on your paddling adventure together 👍
Nice one lads, look forward to joining you on the Scottish trip Richard. I've had many many a quality adventure with Simon over the last 50 years 👍. Food looked great in the evening when it was eventually ready and the breakfast was a bobbydazzler. Eating like kings. Nice shout out for our trip too Atb Rick n Billydog
Lovely spot , I follow Simon as well , puts up some great and interesting videos, all that up hill walking in , the garden as payed off ,I see you hauling an even bigger rucksack uphill down dale ! Great video Richard,
Love the camping spot... what a fab meal you cooked! I think we need to be brave and venture away from sausages in buns next time the fire trough is used!
I would love to see one of your home recipe videos covering the making of homemade black pudding. As soon as I saw it I thought, a large thick square slice of BP, yum that looks really tasty. Thanks again for the entertainment.
Did the Caledonian Canal many years ago. It was a great trip. I hope you enjoy it. One thing I do recommend is having a spray deck in the front of the canoe. We had big waves on Loch Ness and the deck, which was to the fore of my wife, who was front paddler, stopped a lot of water coming onboard.
Great video, what a privilege to have access to beautiful private property, I am suitably blessed also. The beef stock potatoes are an interesting idea.
@@RichardOutdoors He did, it was good . I enjoyed it myself. OF course the guy in the woods has been on Richards XXXX list since. Something about missing food, I think.
Another good video Richard. If I go to heaven, I want it to be just like that location. A massive thumbs up to the farmer for allowing you to share such a privileged location.
Great to see you guys out doing what we all like doing. Richard I have one of your fire troughs and I'am not going to help you sell them, but if any one is thinking of buying one, just to let you know that it's in my Landy so I won't go any where without it. Fab
Lovely spot and a great video as always thank you. The quality of the video is as good as any I have seen. Please thank the landholder on our behalf as well as they make these videos possible. Maybe a handmade Richard exclusive gift in the future that you could take us through the making of. How long did it take you to clean up all the bs that you dropped during the video?
I was just joking about all the crap you were hanging on Simon and thought it might have taken a while to clean up the site. It was an attempt at a compliment from another bs'er. Sadly it seems to have failed. Keep up the good work.
@@RichardOutdoors Apologies for the confusion. I'm Australian so verbal jousting, extracting of the urine whilst consuming proteins and alcoholic beverages and telling jokes/stories is expected behaviour.
Nice vid... Disappointed, that knowing your sense of humour, I was fully expecting you take a swig out out of the purple pot in the morning when you got up...🤣
You’d think a couple of “A List “ YTBrs like yourselves would have staff to make sure your fire was lit and meals were ready on time. Perhaps you could employ that, chap from the Forrest bloke, Simon. Keep up the good work.
Reminds me of an old episode of “Keeping Up Appearances” that has been showing in Texas recently. In it Hyacinth organises a “Waterside supper with riparian entertainment”. Keep up the great work but watch those copy-write infringements.
I bought one of those back packs because the old traditionalist in me loved the idea of the material ... After loading it up ... I thought ... this is the worst pack ever ... I put a frame on it ... Still utterly dreadful ... I quickly concluded that whilst they look good on UA-cam and might be ok if a mile from car... It would be like military punishment to actually use one ... Imho they are way too big for their load carrying ability ... Same design in 30L tops may be ok for day trips ... Good luck with that Richard ... But I very much doubt we'll be seeing that pack in a year unless it's for sale on eBay lol
Your so much like Simon. Except more handsome. More clever a better cook a posher voice.easier to understand a better ..and a very similar hat did you both do knitting in school 😍😍😍😍😍😍only joking Simon 😍😍😂
Richard, I love your truly open honesty and humble disposition. You seem like an all-around good guy yourself. Cheers, mate.
Aww. Thanks Ian! 👍
Great video Richard! You found a beautiful spot ❤️It was nice to see you camping with a friend...it’s good for the soul! Loved the magic trick also 😂😂
Loved the magic 😂😂😂 great video mate, fantastic sense of humour👍

Always a pleasure to join you on your trips and Thx for insights of building your hammock shelter!

This was very very nice. Nice to meet someone new and have a good time.

Yes, the potatoes taste really beefy. Delicious!
