My bio was 16th aug, and 21st aug I received NSF mail which was ofcouse very stressful situation for me.
But on 1st September Alhamdulillah I received BRP mail and yesterday I collected my visa with a stamp on it.
I was asked no additional documents no nothing. After NSF I received my visa within standard time.
I hope this help many of you because I was in the same position few days back 😊

Hey Sir! Just wanted to share my recent student visa application experience from Pakistan. I completed my biometric yesterday at 9:00 AM. Surprisingly, I received a non-straightforward email at 3:00 PM, but later at 7.00 PM, I got a message from VFS Global stating that my application has been dispatched to the UK for processing. I'm a bit confused. how can they send me non-straightforward email even before dispatching my application for processing?
Nsf mail is a automated mail so don't worry about it

This is simply unbelievable as session commencement is around the corner and embassy is taking lot of time . The only problem here is ke Maine 8th September to priority visa lagaya tha Aur uske baad 14th ko i reced this email the missing information where they asked for additional info , uske baad I received one on 15th asking for a consent letter from both my parents Maine sab bheja , now I’m just waiting for another reply from them . Meri classes start ho gayi hain 11th September ki Aur 2nd October is the last date to enter the university . Agar visa uske baad aata hai yo they’ll defer my application to the next intake . Aur this will be very difficult for us Kyunki itna paisa laga ke visa ke liye uske baad next year lagana dobara se . Sab data phirse update karna is very problematic Kyunki university bohot time leti hain new offer letter send karne mein . This is sad .
You're going to University of Glasgow? Cuz my classes also start on 11th September and latest arrival is 2nd October. Coincidentally, I also applied for my student visa on priority on 8th September and on 13th September I received NSF mail asking for additional documents.
Though yesterday I did a paid query and they responded with 'a decision has been made'. Right now I'm waiting for their mail.

I have come to Pakistan, Karachi from Afghanistan, and thought I would get my visa in one week by purchasing priority. On the 6th bio, on the 8th not straightforward email, still nothing. They have taken my passport and I facing a lot of problems. I was driven out by a hotel after seeing that I am an Afghan with no original passport, and they didn't accept the VFS receipt given in return for the passport. Money exchange companies don't give me pkr in return for dollars because of the passport. I have taken one week's leave from my job with BBC in Afghanistan if I don't return next Sunday, I will lose my job. They can't give my passport until the UKI decision. So it crumbled down almost my whole life in just one week and I am starting at it, being unable to do anything. I will soon be out of money. Don't understand Urdu to talk with people. So s complete chaos, I am trapped.

My biometric aug 14 and aug 15 nsf mail and aug 31 agin mail from ukvi interview conduct and bank verification not replying and September 4 interview done and 1 hour after aging nsf mail and September 5 another mail asking bank verification another financial documents send me i can submitting them . Next what i am still waiting but still what next , i can paid enquiry in next monday

i gave biometrics on 18 July with priority student visa .we called them and emailed them and we got an email saying not straightforward but for about 2 weeks there is noting from the other end we are continually calling and emailing them but still didn't receive anything from them.pleace reply

Firstly you need to inform your Uni about the delay and then you need to wait this week .. hopefully you will get your visa 👍

there are 56 days from my biometric and still waiting for a decision
I have applied for a skilled worker visa and opted super priority service (India)
my biometric date is 25th July 2023
NSF mail received on 27th July 2023
after 15 working days of NSF, we did paid the inquiry through Email and got a response on 22nd August that we had escalated your file and gave a 7-digit escalate number.
after 15 working days of escalation, I contacted them again (on 12th September) to ukvi through a call inquiry and they Re-escalated my file and gave me another 7-digit escalation number. still, I am waiting for a response.
during the call Enqury to ukvi I asked for the delayed reason they told me that we can only inform you about your file status and escalate your file. we don't have any other information regarding your file.
