Nice video. I’m in upstate SC, just below the NC border. We’ve had no internet for 2 weeks and counting, and our house doesn’t get a cell signal, so I’m slipping so far behind on everything. Last weekend I shelled the transaxle on my tractor and cracked the housing. It’s in the shop now, and I think I’ve found the perfect additional tractor and attachments. Been working through all the scenarios on machines, new, used, and even selling equipment off and backing out of tractor work. So much to consider, and slow and deliberate is always the way to go. Thanks!
Yeah it seems like there are a million puzzles to solve an there is rarely a perfect answer. Ya’ll stay safe up there, it has been a rough go for you up there I am sure
@@DirtAndRocks Thanks, appreciate it. There are so many secondary effect no one thinks about and of course no one talks about. Such as people who work from home and have supplementary income from online based work that have been on hold for 2 weeks and counting, at the same time expenses are rising. Life is a painting, not a photograph. Really enjoy your content as always!
I really dont mind just hearing u rant about the mysteries of life😂... that 306 seems really nice! At the end of the day only you know if its the right machine for you though... anyways thanks for sharing!👍
I will give Cat a lot of props, they build a really nice machine that is comfortable to operate. It's going to get another shakedown today, so we shall see how that goes! Thanks so much for watching :)
Anytime, it was a great jump off point for stocking up my truck. I too seem to keep adding little things here and there. But all of it helps. The ability to just handle a lot of different things that come up in real time is a huge benefit for me.
Great video. It’s tough making a decision on something that cost a lot of money. Speaking of trailers my nephew bought something like a side by side once. Well, he stopped on his way to get it and bought a trailer to haul it on. The trailer he bought was too short. So he took it back but the trailer company would not let him trade for the right size. His mom took a fit. She tried to shame them but no sir they would not lol. Thanks for sharing and have a great Sunday.
Yeah, the good news is I don't have the feeling of "oh I have to have one of these". it's a nice piece of equipment, but I want to take the time to see what it can and cannot do before I get too excited. Thanks for watching!
Hey thanks for the suggestion. I cut the Volvo, Case, and Hyundai models from consideration based on aux hydraulic flow. I think those three were in the 15-16GPM range, where the Deere, Cat, and Hitachi were in the 24 GPM range. I do agree though, that Volvo makes a nice machine, and it was painful to cut it from the list. Thanks for watching!!
Good explanation of why a truck with a bumper pull. Why not a kubota kx057 or U-55? Just a little smaller than the 306 I believe but quite a bit cheaper and just as good if not better IMO 👍
I have a 4ton KX-040 and I like it just fine. This is really more about trying to get something closer to the performance of my 8 ton, if that is even realistic. It's a tall order, my TB285 punches way above it's weight. Thanks so much for watching!
