Hot dogs was the other one i believe, the "Gerstmamn" perhaps. btw omg i havent heard them say Ryan Davis name in a while, that quick look was one of my all time favorites quick looks classic GB, Ryan loved this games intro, i fucking miss him
My wife and I have been playing this relentlessly. Most important tip: always, always, ALWAYS have tons of long-lasting sides up, especially right before rush hours. They should take up at least half the prep slots. Go for stuff that comes in big batches and doesn't go bad quickly. Fries are superb for this, salads are the worst!
This is the reason I watch GB videos. They'd cover obscure games that weren't on Steam, generate enough buzz they'd call the Red Dog the "Gerstmann" and Jeff would call Ryan a racist. It's the bants and the pacing, and East coast is doin' it right this time.
The CSD playthrough with Ryan and Jeff will always be the most comfy and entertaining on this channel and maybe in their entire library. Really excited to watch the East boys try it out, but I had to pop in and give some props to the classic.
justplainruk just bought it and definitely agree. The mouse controls act as a crutch, allowing you to slowly learn the shortcut keys for each item. There's too many ingredients for letters but they try and keep it as close as possible. So I say the words aloud "ucumber" instead of cucumber, "zeteztle" instead of pretzel. Slowly I stop using the mouse and I'm smashing out orders. Reminds me of the good times working in a kitchen and only a tiny bit of the crippling depression.
I love at 14:41 when rush hour starts for vinny. This game will always remind me of Ryan. I picked up the first on iOS for traveling this weekend not knowing there was a second one in the works at all. Crazy. Anyway great QL
The lore is that SherriSoda Towers has been doing some shady stuff and has to close down; you open a new restaurant in Terragon Tower, and the other restaurants are available for you to work in. "Cook for Hire" mode allows you to work in other restaurants to get a feel for how other menus work.
I like that they took out menu rot and give you a bunch of different menu presets for your restaurant, but I wish they kept the upgrade system for the foods. I guess the dearth of new recipes makes up for that.
They're adding that back in an update set to come out in October; if you check the steam page they added a preview today that goes into detail about it.
For those of you without jobs, this is what it feels like working fast food. Worked in a pizza hut for 5 years in college and this brings back so many terrible memories.
I can't help but feel Nostalgic and a little sad since Ryan did the Quick Look for the first Cook Serve Delicious
Oh man, i just came here to write the same thing. The first Cook, Serve, Delicious was an awesome Quick Look. Man I miss Ryan.
The Ryan Davis burger is still in this game.
I think I'm going to go and dig up that Quick Look, it was great.

I feel like I went on an emotional rollercoaster throughout this quicklook. Oh my god.

This game is much easier to manage when playing with a keyboard. I feel like the controller option was mostly added in for co-op support.

Totally. I'm a huge fan of the first game, and trying to use a controller or mouse to play it feels unnecessarily complicated.

This is giving me flashbacks to my days in food service. This game seems to perfectly capture the stress of working in an actual kitchen
Waiting for the next civ quick look, where Dan plays it with a controller.
Especially since you can quickly send out ready orders in the middle of preparing a different order on keyboard by pressing the number keys.
This might be my favorite giant bomb video this year. Hearing Dan just constantly demanding orders made my day lol
And now you know why chef's do coke.
this looks very stressful
This series is way easier on a keyboard.

Love this! Kind of want to buy this but I worked fast food for years and don't want to relive that hell for fun.
I figured this game was keyboard mandatory, but controller seems doable after watching this. Might be a worthy successor to Overcooked!
It's definitely doable, if you're a psychopath.
I miss Ryan. :(
So say us all.
I feel like the credits for this game needs a special thanks to Walmart for providing the inspiration for the customer artwork.
The original Cook Serve Delicious had a Ryan Davis Easter egg put in to it
The Ryan Davis is still there in this sequel.

Ocean Man's Requiem Oh that’s cool! I’m glad they’ve decided to bring back a lot of these features.
Sexy Hair Flip 2016 is the absolute best.
What the hell is going on. I managed to keep up for about 30 seconds.
This really does make overcooked feel juvenile and slow

Like having another shitty job.
Dan's restaurant looks like someone's shitty storage locker.
Playing this game with a controller is a very-very bad idea
immediately watches first CSD QL recommended by UA-cam
Vinny old man can't figure out games can get too much...p.s. Love vinny
If just watching someone play it stresses me out, I think it's not the game for me. :-)
Two cheese for life
This looks way to stressful.
yum yum
Not many obese Americans in this very American food game! ;D
Especially with the kenji texts appearing on the screen from time to time. Very American. lol
