Acctually there are weapon attachments you can get, you have to select operators you own and then go to loadout, then select your gun. I'm literally yelling at my computer because it is so obvious XD
+Matthew Brownx For some reason, everyone at GB seems super down on this game, so it shouldn't be surprising that they didn't really put in the effort to learn anything about how it's structured.
I love this channel. good honest discussions and interesting commentary, this type of channel is what i would expect and want to be bigger. (*my channel could never compare lol..*)
+Kyle S. And you're the reason people complain about shitty teams. By muting people you literally are cutting yourself off from learning things, not to mention communication with your team. Maybe something more your speed would be WoW.
Internetzspacezshipz I gave people a chance and learned nothing except that people are assholes. So now I mute them and pretend they're not. And no one I get randomly matched up with is a teammate--if I want to play as part of a team, I'll grab some friends and go in party chat. In-game chat is useless, as this video demonstrates.
I was very sceptical about this game. No story. No respawns. Timed rounds etc. When dying matters it changes the way you play and it's surprisingly fun..
U can mute everyone under audio voice chat volume to zero. There's a slight progression for each operator weapons , scope , muzzle and laser sight. But i agree some of these are not easy to find. And the ingame chat is bugging out by voice activation even when you select push to talk, to unstuck ur voice chat need to tab u once.
I wish they continued Rainbow Six Patriots, the first gameplay concept footage they showed years back looked like it was forming into a narrative masterpiece, and the gameplay was more true to the old Rainbow Six formula.
I have to say I love the game, waaaay better than black ops 3 and you can actually try to communicate with players here. Only alot of times you encounter rambo players coming from cod :D
Glad I"m not the only one that had the same impression of this game. After the beta and seeing how it really wasn't "Totally destructable", and defender rounds are kind of just boring... Like you guys say, maybe if I had a crew of 5 other people to play with, this game would be cool, but the reality is that we're usually too busy to get 5 people on at once. I really wanted to like this game, the beta was great to try, but it just doesn't really come together that well. If you could level the house, and really demolish anything, I think that's what this game needs. No, I don't want to play red faction, I want to play this game where you can actually set a breach charge on any surface and blow a hole in it.
So.. Nice as this game looks.. It doesn't look worth the full price at all. I mean, one of the main advertisements of this game was that you could approach the objective at any angle and burst through any object.. But immediately all I see is "unbreakable wall". I highly doubt this will last long, much like Battlefront. They are two overly expensive titles for what they are and when compared to games like Counter Strike or Team Fortress, I don't see them living past a month or two.
+theocan I totally disagree saying that this game won't last long. This game has loads of replayability and has a load of depth in the way the operator interact with each other and how each of them play can be vastly different as well as being very competitive.
War_Pig_s But to be honest, I rate that more up to people's approaches changing and less the game actually doing much in terms of variety. I mean, you just mentioned how they interact with each other.. But due to the ridiculous choice of multiplayer games costing £10 more than any other genre on the market, the community is small and frankly, not that great when looking at this quick look. It's placing a gamble on a community, and not the quality of the game and even if the game was good, the quality of the community could get much worse over a period of time, which I easily see happening.
It's a game that relies on it's community, and when it's community is either toxic or not there at all, that's a real issue. Also, the main attraction and feature of advertisement was the destruction, something that was meant to make the game stand out from the rest of the multiplayer shooter genre. Problem is, it never kept to its promise and outside of some interesting moments, it seemed like a pretty generic MP shooter.
theocan would you not say CS:GO relies on it community? and that it's community can be and often is toxic (especially at higher ranks). i don't see that game doing to badly. Information you get from advertisements can't ever be concerned credible i'm surprised you would take anything from them at all.
I don't know man, I've always loved the absolute chaos that chat can be in multiplayer games. I'll only mute someone if there is some obnoxious background noise.
Watching you play with a controller just boggles my mind that anyone likes consoles... Another thing, you got a lot of the information wrong, and generally weren't very well informed on it.
These guys are terrible at explaining this game. It's obvious they didn't pay attention to opener because they clearly state the defenders are rouge agents. Giant bomb going the way of IGN. Plus this game is worth every penny if you don't want an immature community and unlocking useless stuff, this is for those old school folks looking for counter strike 1.6 or rainbow six Vegas .
+Chooby TV I agree. Many parts during this Quick Look game mechanics were described completely wrong or he just didn't know. He also said there is no weapon progression. Which version is he playing?
Whoa! Giant Bomb caring more about fun than getting every detail of a game right? When did THIS happen?! I guess they must be "going the way of IGN" by this point, since this has been their style since 2008.
Yes, and they do that for an hour and eight minutes. You can look up any Quick Look and find people butthurt that they're "showing the game wrong" or missing key features and so on. My comment wasn't making a judgement on whether butthurt dude #457 was right or not. It was more a statement that it's been this way for a while, even if this perception of GB is based on many people erroneously criticizing them. Oh, and NO I'm not saying you guys are in error; I'm not even saying that this video is completely accurate. I'm saying that given how many QLs come out and the comments look like THIS, regardless of the video's accuracy, it would seem GB's priorities lie elsewhere than detailing the nitty gritty of games. You can watch the QLs and get a good look at a game's concept and have some fun; or you can be that dude who acts all surprised and insulted by their "lack of preparedness" when a quick look comes out and *gasp* they missed some stuff/made errors about this game!

+Blorp Weatherby They fucked up a ton of the information too... A lot of false information.
Lol Vinny trying his best to make up a story to this game.
+nonowaii Yeah, really...
+nonowaii Bless him for trying to salvage this mess.
I love this channel. good honest discussions and interesting commentary, this type of channel is what i would expect and want to be bigger. (*my channel could never compare lol..*)
Rest in peace Tom Clancy, loved the books you wrote and love the games based on your books. You will be missed.
If I couldn't mute literally everybody in a multiplayer game I would return it immediately.
+Kyle S. And you're the reason people complain about shitty teams. By muting people you literally are cutting yourself off from learning things, not to mention communication with your team. Maybe something more your speed would be WoW.

+Goemondojo Could be the case. Or maybe you're the problem if you've never noticed that there are assholes everywhere.
+Kyle S. you're just too sensitive to be on the internet, it's sad really
Goemondojo Okay, chief. Good talk.
I was very sceptical about this game. No story. No respawns. Timed rounds etc. When dying matters it changes the way you play and it's surprisingly fun..
These guys painfully don't understand the game mechanics.
Whew! love you guys. Was looking forward to this one
Wow they have improved the game quite a bit since this video.
also you can upgrade your guns with scopes/laser sights etc. the misinformation here is brutal
Bought it and I'm having a blast in multiplayer with friends
+nufrequency84 I'm trying to convince friends to get it :D
+nufrequency84 would you say you need friends to play with to get the best experience? or do you think its fine if your playing solo
+Danze Gamer (Danzegamer) any game is better with friends but its fine solo
Giant Bomb east are bunch of damn fools! This shit had me dying.
Ha ha ha, the very special sideways operator is GOLD!
holy fuck that multiplayer chat could not have been set up better

rest in peace R6 Patriots
I have to say I love the game, waaaay better than black ops 3 and you can actually try to communicate with players here.
Only alot of times you encounter rambo players coming from cod :D
"You're very special forces"
what a magical moment :)
Glad I"m not the only one that had the same impression of this game. After the beta and seeing how it really wasn't "Totally destructable", and defender rounds are kind of just boring... The upgrades for weapons are under the individual operators themselves.
Lol what, you re-late Spetsnaz with a ballistic knife?
6 is the nickname for the person in charge of a unit. Rainbow 6 was the leader of rainbow. (Often Ding)
In addition yes you can blow up some of the house up. In situation the environment is more closed up.

You know at this point, they may as well just film real actors and save money by cutting the CG.
>playing a FPS on PC with controller
I don't know man, I've always loved the absolute chaos that chat can be in multiplayer games. I'll only mute someone if there is some obnoxious background noise.
Vinny claims 7:30 is some Vinny-type shit, but the real Vinny-type shit is at 9:11
52:38 Perfect
"Giggin"
OMG why do they not think to check the Audio section to turn off voice chat, that seems like the most obvious shit ever
Because they weren't trying to turn off voice chat, they were trying to turn off text chat...
Lol, Vinny would be down with Lord Chanka.
Angela should have just called Jack Bauer instead.
The reason he lost the 1st game because he got hurt and couldn't be revived
9:40 Good ol Uibflop quality
Wow, less than ten minutes in and we've already got inexplicable video game architecture (no gutters?! ??????) AND the game is broken.
THANKS UBISOFT
PUSHING THE QUALITY AS ALWAYS
I never noticed missing gutters in VG houses... shit, I'm never gonna be able to play games the same way again
+Paul Hemphill There's lots of areas where gutters are uncommon.
Understand the complaints, but I'm loving this game. A lot of misinformation in this video, though.
sharing is caring
Lol, seems like like another game with its design stuck in the 00s..
+Kael season pass, micro-transactions and forced f2p-like progression are kinda modern game designs Kappa
add is not loading -_-
this appears to be anti fun
Watching you play with a controller just boggles my mind that anyone likes consoles... Another thing, you got a lot of the information wrong, and generally weren't very well informed on it.
Mute everyone to create my safe space where nothing can hurt me

Whoa! Giant Bomb caring more about fun than getting every detail of a game right? When did THIS happen?!
I guess they must be "going the way of IGN" by this point, since this has been their style since 2008.
Wrong. The point of a Quick Look is to spotlight the features and mechanics of the game. Go an watch more Quick Looks, buddy.
Yes, and they do that for an hour and eight minutes. You can look up any Quick Look and find people butthurt that they're "showing the game wrong" or missing key features and so on. Is this a mod for COD or Battlefield?

2018???
gbeast shouldn't quick look aaa games
