Actually Ryu is Ryo's badass little brother. Ryo is born in 1957 while Ryu was born in 1964, Ryo is 7 years older than Ryu.

Fun Fact: Ryo is actually the Tiger of Kyokugen Ryu entitled by Takuma but his friends and rivals see him as the Dragon.
Robert wanted to join but Takuma refused but after passing Takuma's test(Well not really he befriended the tiger that Takuma wanted him to defeat)

O melhor personagem de FF Special. Eu tinha esse cartucho no SNES e lembro até hoje como habilita ele. Mt quebrado, até o especial dele é desproporcional (imbloqueavel)
É. Se o jogo tivesse sido feito poucos anos depois, quando os devs amadureceram mais algumas ideias, acho que eles iriam oferecer uma versão livre e nerfada dele (ou "não quebrada", pensando por outro lado). Assim como começaram a fazer com chefes em outros jogos pouco depois desse FFS.

Despite the fact that you *can* play as Ryo in multiplayer matches via a secret code after you beat Ryo once, you're not able to play as Ryo in arcade mode unless you use Game Shark or similar cheat methods, and for good reason. Rio literally kicks everyone's ass, TAS or not.
Wasn't Ryo's Haohken broken as hell for arcade runs because the AI had no idea how to deal with it?
In KOF 94, Jubeï Yamada, Cheng Sizan,Tung Fu Rue, Big Bear, Duck King are in cameos. On a boat ! 🚤 In the stage of...Italy team ! (Terry, Andy, Joe)
Only Cheng Sizan and Jubeï Yamada are never in a KOF game, as a playable characters. ! 😝

incrível q pareça, a música do Ryo na versão do snes é muito mais da hora, mesmo não tendo a qualidade sonora do neo geo, ela é mais motivacional.

Cuando solo sabía sobre KOF, estaba bien. Pero, cuando me enteré de AOF ... Maldita sea, si no le pusieron el chip a Ryo. En serio, lo convirtieron en una broma irrelevante en el programa. Nada más, ni siquiera para ser como Terry.
Posiblemente esto se debió al bajo número de ventas del AOF3 y del propio FF.

I wondey why the World Heroes universe was forgotten by SNK in Kof titles I remember seeing in the arcade World Heroes 2 Jet, Art Of Fighting 2, and Fatal Fury special together and being a success always with people playing.
Cause SNK themselves did not make the WH series of games some third party did using the NeoGeo hardware as it was developed by ADK before SNK assumed ownership of the company

Os cenários de Cheng,Mai,Tung e Duck King deviam ter objetos que quebram nos cantos esquerdo e direito. E nos cenários de Geese e Krauser deviam ter a luta numa única linha só que nem o Billy Kane,Axel Hawk e Laurence Blood. Cheng devia ter totens de dragão,Mai devia ter estátuas,Tung devia ter mini-pinheiros e Duck King devia ter pilares de luzes. Já no Geese o fundo do cenário devia ter espinhos. E no Krauser o fundo do cenário devia ter mini-torres com fogo. Do Ryo poderia ter como objetos que quebram as placas em japonês.

É bem legal imaginar o Ryo funcionando no sistema de RB com toda aquela mobilidade e combos, tão únicos dessa fase da série FF.
Acho que teria sido melhor para todos, até para a própria Snk, ter passado os chars mais populares de AOF para FF depois de AOF2, e acabado com a série. Na metade dos anos 90, só o que podia competir com a escala e as características atraentes de KOF era mesmo a jogabilidade única de RBFF... Que não tinha, e até hoje não tem igual em jogos 2d. Essa migração para FF ajudaria também os chars de AOF, porque FF se desenvolveu e se refinou muito melhor ao longo dos anos do que AOF.

Cronológicamente Ryo debería tener unos 10 años más porque gesse es ya mayor y Ryo tiene la edad aquí que tenía en aof1, o viajo en tiempo al futuro de South town?. Recordemos que este fue el pretexto para crear kof94, pero desde allí ese universo es incongruente con la línea temporal, gran fallo de snk
Por eso cuando lo enfrentas, aparece al principio que es una pelea de ensueño. No entra dentro de la continuidad el universo de FF.

Ryo not has AI for the cpu complete, and use only level 1 stage 1 AI of Terry (and for the bosses too, including Ryo)
For optimal gameplay with this character, need the AI used by Geese or Krauser in level 8 stage 12
I wish they make this version of Ryo if there is another Capcom vs SNK.

Tirando a perda gráfica da redução do sprite, o Ryo só ganhou sendo convertido para esse FFS, que funciona muito melhor como jogo de luta comparado ao AOF.
O único detalhe que podiam ter feito bem melhor é o "frente, trás, frente + soco" dele (não sei nomes de golpes em japonês) que no KOF ficou mais fiel ao AOF.
