You know it was a stressful episode when he ain’t even roll a blunt or spark nothing
I took a couple dabs before the episode and a few more during, and I was losing my shit the whole time lmao
I was devastated when they killed off Tech, but I am glad they made his sacrifice mean something by him remaining dead. Had several heartattacks during this episode, afraid Wrecker would die! Man, I loved this show. No idea how much I needed to see Hunter as an old man.

Fett clones for the win! I'm so glad Mount Tantiss has been disabled, especially this early into the reign of the Empire. Echo was flexing that 501st ARC trooper muscle in this episode!
This entire episode was nuts and so well done. The Bad Batch was an amazing story within Star Wars.
21:42 If we don't see live-action Omega, I wouldn't be surprised if we see her in another animated story. This story tells us that she's leaving to be a pilot. Will she just be a pilot? This show has shown that she's much more than that. She's a leader, and she was trained by the best of the best.
We don't know when exactly this episode ends, but this story told us two important details that hint where to look: There's a Rebel Alliance (so after Rogue One), and the Rebel Alliance needs pilots (Didn't Biggs leave Tattooine because the Rebel Alliance needed pilots?). Sure, Hunter has aged significantly, but he doesn't look as old as Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor in Rebels. Hunter's hair is starting to lose its color--the clones in Rebels all had white hair.
For the most part, the Bad Batch is a standalone story; it completes the Clone's story that started with episode two. It also explains why the Empire stopped using clones and made moves for military conscription. Good soldiers might follow orders, but better soldiers question them. The Empire wanted soldiers that would follow orders without question, which is something all clones couldn't do, though Tantis was on the verge of giving the Empire just that with his reprogrammed operatives.
The Bad Batch also clued us in on the Emperor's shadow program, Project Necromancer, something we all heard about previously in the Mandalorian with Moff Gideon and the few remaining Imperial leaders. There's still a story there, on that went under the radar of the Rebel Alliance until Palpatine's return decades later. Emperor Palpatine aside, the only people who knew about this were Echo, and the Bad Batch. The finale retired the Bad Batch, but begins anew with Omega's fight. Will Omega pick up where Nala Se left off? Omega doesn't yet know that Kamino technology is still in the hands of the Emperor. Hemlock might have the full recipe, but the Emperor managed to get a few key ingredients before Nala Se destroyed it all.
We could get another animated story that starts off with Omega joining the Rebel Alliance as a pilot, but finding herself caught up in Kamino technology along the way. Omega was Nala Se's assistant on Kamino for most of her life. Omega is very smart and is a natural leader. I wouldn't be surprised if we see her again in another animated show working loosely with Mon Mothma to give us that overall story cohesion in the same way the Emperor and Tarkin did in the Bad Batch, while giving us a bunch of new characters and scenarios to introduce new Star Wars lore.
The Clone Wars helped make the prequels become a much better story. Dave Filoni and Jon Favarue are fast at work with Star Wars projects now to fix the mediocre movies Star Wars ended on, and they seem to be off to a good start. The heroes in the main storyline are oblivious to the fact that the Empire is in possession of cloning technology, moviegoers too--which is why the Mandalorian planted the seeds of Kamino early on and played it up. Rex's inner circle and the Bad Batch are the only heroes really in the know about Kamino's cloning technology being in the hands of the Empire, and with the fall of Tantis they might have believed that their past was finally behind them, but it clearly isn't.
Omega and Boba Fett are the last of Kamino. Will they be the ones to discover that the Empire is still in possession of Kaminoian tech? Will it be shown that they are the reason why Palpatine never perfected the Nala Se's work?
I can't wait to see where Omega ends up. I hope she's the one who gets the few remaining Bothan spies to Mon Mothma just before the assault on the second Death Star.

I wish we would’ve gotten Tech back, but damn this show was good. They really did the characters respect and hope we see the Batch again
