This is excellent; I really like your creative approach - especially the depth of field. The real mystery is the role of the building in the distance. Feedback: the subtle static radio chatter is *perfect* for videos like this.
Now this is my kind of base and with the submarine being my boat this is perfect for my imagination I can just imagine working here and the background music is perfect for the background 😊
Only one thing spoils this: the ad I got at the one-hour point. It ruins the immersion. EDIT: Sorry if this came across as negative, I love everything you produce! Keep up the great work - but please be careful where you place ads ;)
@@ambientoutpost Submarines at the dock of a remote naval base in the deep north. Flashes on the distant horizon, in the direction of a major metro. Sailors scrambling to get the boat underwater and out of the harbor. .. Creepy AF
American submarine, if you're curious. it's not any class of Russian attack submarines, not a Yasen-M, not an Oscar-series, not Akula, not Kilo It's a pre-688i Los Angeles class submarine
Can we get the normal aspect ratio? Black bars really remove you from the immersion of the scene. This is a cool one, love the sun coming in and out of the clouds
Do we really need THAT level of immersion? lol. Come on guys, it's a lot of work to upload different versions of this and I can't imagine you're just sitting there staring blindly at it.
Thanks for your feedback. I see your point but thought for those without uw monitor the better compromise is to have black bars top / bottom, than left / right.
This is one of the best ones for falling asleep in these uncertain times
Fantastic!!!! Love the vibe here. Ice Station Zebra + Red October = Awesome OUTPOST!!!!!!! Very Creative post!!!! Thanks!!!!!
Thanks for all your great work.

This one is beyond amazing, great music and love the view very much. Keep up the good work my friend!
The ultimate mix of chill and mystery 👁🌌
Ohh wow, that sub sure fires up the winter imagination.
Oh man, I was watching clips of the Hunt for Red October just last night! You read my mind.
Perfect timing for my Girls’ Frontline 2 polar region quests ❄️
Hell yes..Ice Station Zebra vibes!
feel like I'm there
this vibe would be epic in a video game

I will sub for the submarine 🙌
literally so good
Well, that's gonna be me looping the Crimson Tide theme for a while.
This is Severodvinsk guys, the base of the Northern fleet, not far from Arkhangelsk
We need more rainforest labs 👀🍃
good Job!

No worries! If the video was just an hour long, the ad would be right at the end. :)
This is new though - for me at least. Until now I've only seen ads at the start and end, even on 2-hour vids.
Are those flashes nukes going off in the distance?
hm interesting theory! potentially yes. I imagined it to be fading sunlight coming through the clouds. I suck at animation.

Maybe it would be better to remove the blur at the beginning of the video or use another effect? I feel a little sick at this moment.
Oh, it looks like a Russian submarine in the ice of Murmansk)

noooo it's perfect for curved screens
This aspect ratio is used for those who have ultrawide monitors. Maybe ambient outpost could upload two different aspect ratio versions?
