Lol you simply need to wound your string toward the top not toward the base my les paul never go out of tune ,replace #10 with #9 all les paul user know this secret buddy
It's a good point, you still need to stretch your new strings, my buddy 😉👍 And 9s are too soft, if you're referring to string gauge. I NEED 10-52, not so much as want 😉
Been using Gibson les paul since 89, never have that issue played pro with bands did recording never have issue as long as you wrap your string the right way on the tuning peg you won't lose tuning. It's metal bro talk with a luthier. The neck near the headstock is the weakest part of a Gibson because of the the trust rod cavity its prone for breakager eplacing Guage #10 with 9 string will lessen the stress on the neck if you sew how they break will scare you.😊
