i never knew what a lab diamond was until i started searching for my wife's engagement ring last year. thankfully i did a lot of research and watched a lot of trax videos during the process lol. i ended up getting my wifes 1.26 D-VS2 princess cut center stone for around 50% less than what I would of had to pay for natural of the same specs. the halo and pave side stones on the setting are in the F-VS2 range. the total carat weight ended up being 1.59 and saved me close to $4-5k if I went natural. i've seen plenty of natural diamonds during my long search and i can only say that lab diamonds are absolutely gorgeous and in some cases better looking that naturals.

Lab diamond is gonna be a lot better most of the time. It's cleaner and a cutter can afford to lose more weight. So your cut is better as a result. The type of stone you pick is based on the color and how much fire you want. Diamond is moderately high fire and moderately consistent color. Other stones have more fire or different color. I recommend silver for cast pieces, gold for simple forged pieces but overall platinum and stainless are the best for daily wear (in my opinion). Those metals don't tarnish like gold, are scratch resistant, and durable. His shop provides good value in my opinion.
About the same as natural diamonds. Unless you're talking about an exceptionally large stone which would get you about the same as what you paid for it.

You just lost $25k But if you buy a lab diamond, youll probablt spend $15-20k Lets just say resale is zero If you really think about it, you lost less value with the lab from the getgo If the lab actuallt has a resale value, you lose even lesser than the natural (if you are thinking about resale)

But one day I bought lab diamond earrings for my wife and realized I got better quality diamonds for a far lesser price and at the end of the day it is still diamonds.
