Because he forced Lerner to admit his policies were fascist, Hook vowed that LaRouche would never debate anyone ever again and shortly after the Washington Post issued the orders to all the news agencies to treat LaRouche as enemy #1.

Not that I remember. He was more focused on Obama as a creature from the University of Chicago and the crew of neocon crazies that dominated his administration if you remember the whole Russiagate insanity during Trump years they were whipping up on behalf of British Intelligence.

From what i personally understand about LaRouche so far is that,essentially,his main premise is opposition to any and all forms of political elitism (oligarchy) and a support of policies and social changes that will prevent an elitist culture in society. Is my basic assumption so far accurate?

That's pretty much the jist of it. Since he was a non-combatant due to his Quaker upbringing, he was a medic in the India/Burma theater during WW2 and got to see first hand the brutality of the British colonial system. He described how he looked up all the political parties in India at the time using the phone book and personally visited each one to discuss the future of the country which pissed off British Intelligence.
