Written and Directed by: B. Rain Bennett
Rain Bennett is a two-time Emmy-nominated filmmaker, writer, and keynote speaker with over 15 years of experience predominantly producing documentary films and television through his production company, Flying Flounder Productions. He directed and produced his first feature-length documentary by traveling the world with just a backpack and a Canon DSLR camera. That film, Raise Up: The World is Our Gym won “Best of the Fest” at the Hip Hop Film Festival and Bennett secured a deal with Red Bull Media House for worldwide release.
The Casserole Brigade is a 12-minute dark comedy that screened in several festivals across the southeastern United States and won the "Best Dark Comedy" at the Night of Comedy Shorts festival and the "Screenplay Award of Merit" at the Foothills Film Festival.
Bennett resides in Durham, North Carolina, where he is currently writing his first book and first feature-length screenplay, as well as in post-production for his next feature documentary, Finding Croatoan, about the unending quest to solve the story of “America’s oldest mystery,” the Lost Colony of Roanoke Island.
