Hey Chris - the marine is affected by the faster firing upgrade on the heli, just fyi. So $1000 may have saved you a decent bit of effort lol

You were wondering why your helis were kind of sucking, it’s because that’s just how helis are on multi lane tracks.

It’s one of my favourite parts of his videos, could easily be edited out but the video is so much better knowing that he is fallible and showcases how difficult some of these challenges are

I feel like the Moab Shove and Comanche Defense are highly underused/underrated by most. Would have made the 50's much easier than 3-4 Razor rotors.

I managed it (although I did it in challenge editor, so I could retry last round).
1. Start Sauda (had to use a couple abilities while saving up for apachi and prime, but none after that).
2. Get 5-2-0 Heli (left on pursuit the whole game)
3. Get 0-5-2 Heli (the bottom path makes the marine shoot faster, and marines are the primary source of DDT popping power) (left this locked in place in center and used marine on CD)
4. As many 0-2-3 helis as you can afford the rest of the game (locked in place in center of map)
This is a only helipilot spin on my normal CHIMPS strat which is start Sauda get a 3-0-1 alchemist to buff then get 5-2-0 pilot then eventually a 2-0-5 pilot with a 2-3-0 village to buff it and just do whatever else you want

the reason the heli pilots arent doing very good is because they arent good on maps with multiple tracks/ different directions. Normally a razor rotors heli (assuming you are able to start with it) can solo up to an apache and that can solo up to an apache prime normally by round 80 on most beginner maps with 1 long track

its always cool to see youtubers that i watched as a kid still make videos to this day. like so many have disappeared so its nice to see Super jambambo still exists (not sure if thats how he spells the name haha but thats my memory of it)
The bloon rushes I can't track so well, but the MOAB classes are fairly easy. When you pop them open, their bloons will all go to the same side. If any of them are fanning out as if they've been downdrafted, you don't need to worry about the ones going to the exit. If the children of one single moab-class are going all over everywhere, hit escape and retry the round.
Hi SJB - when you started this series, you said you would use alch or village if you couldn’t get past a certain point. I feel like an MIB would have done you wonders on your run with Sauda.

3. use her sword ability for first ceramic wave the moment they reach middle. 2nd wave ceramics use sword dash and sword ability for last wave of ceramics.
4.idk thats how far I got with 1 hero and 1 heli. also I didn't die past wave 63 just took a small break

This challenge isn't hard if done on challenge editor where you can just leak instead of trying to spot the leaks. On the other hand, trying to spot the leaks is virtually impossible.

Basically apache and special popperations are mandatory because they do dmg to DDTs. Apache prime is very weak to DDTs indeed, but still better than nothing, which the commanche is. Then shove because it slows down all moabs including DDTs. The apache + sauda takes care of the BAD. I finished with 30k leftover since I wanted to make the towers last as long as possible before buying, but ended up not needing anything.
In case you're not sure if your tower can damage lead or not, just go on the wiki and there will be all the types of dmg for the tower. For example the Apache Prime has an energy attack, a plasma attack, an explosive attack, and the razor rotors. Only the razor rotor and the plasma can damage DDTs, hence why it's weak against them.
His problem at the end wasn’t seeing leaks it’s that he couldn’t pop everything. What towers did you have at the end thst made you win
I think you should do a new series with no heros. If the tower is unaffordable at the start, make a custom level with just enough cash to start. It could be fun because heros kinda kill the challenge in my opinion. With heros, it's not just heli pilots, it's heli pilots with quincy. I think seeing a single tower type video without heros would be even harder and more fun.
I think if you do CHIMPS ++, you might want to include at least a minimum amount of support on some towers :P

I’ve gotten pretty good at catching flies too. The younger ones I can scoop up in my hands, and the older ones I can pinch between my fingers.

@@ryancortez7770 flies only live a matter of days, and as they get older their reaction times start to decrease. They also get slower as they get bigger.

When you leave it on pursuit you can tell if bloons are coming or going because it'll chase anything going for the exit. If it isn't chasing you're not losing them, it's just downdraft

yes ik that i made it sauda chimps+ not heli, but still, challenge code: ZMDYXBV, solution:get sauda, get 0-2-3 heli, use leaping sword on 37, then upgrade to 0-2-4 heli, then for 63 get 4-2-0 heli, then use sauda jump for 76, then use sword charge for both ceram waves on 78, then upgrade to 5-2-0 heli on 79, then get sauda to lvl 20 by buying levels, use leap on 93, on 95 use leap and then sword charge, and if you time it right it should work, then for round 96 you need leaping sword, then 98 use sword charge quite early but not too late or too early, when you finish 98 the cooldown should be at 1/4 away from being ready again tops, then use sword charge for 99, and use 3x leaping sword for 100, and then when bad pops use sword charge and try to get all what comes out of zomgs, i built another 0-1-4 heli for 100 as well, which worked on my winning attempt`

I'm sorry but this has got to be the WORST map to play CHIMPS with a downdraft Heli... You can never tell if you're about to lose! XD

This is actually a great map to use lock in place helis. I never really tried, except with door gunner because theres limited space for towers.
I'm not a super skilled player, so maybe someone who is can try-Sauda L20 is actually a lot better at DDTs, so maybe maybe upgrading her a little might be valuable ^^
All boils down to the stupid Geraldo nerf, as if there weren't already few enough starts on Expert CHIMPS runs. It definitely takes away possibilities, including the fabled 1tc, so I really hope they revert it
Try balance chimps with tack shooter top path buffed with village and alchemist (ninja in a corner for camo untill camo village) and try to fit alchemist in village range so It can pop the purples (alchemist pops purples for some reason)

Downdraft should flip the balloons upside down while they are travelling backwards.
idk how not a single btd6 YTer doesnt realize that faster rangs and darts is 4 catching leaks of fast bloons
Here's a challenge Idea! Ask someone you know who doesn't play bloons TD, and asked them to choose 5 towers. You then have to play with those towers in order, placing every 20 rounds. So you place tower 1 at the start (If its not affordable just ask for a new one or switch it with tower 2) then tower 2 on round 20, tower 3 on round 40, etc. You must place the tower after you beat the round. Also play it on chimps and no heros.
What’s the difference top path heli and bottom path heli? Like what are their usage difference?
I personally use comanche for multi lane maps w/o pursuit because main heli does pretty well against one lane and mini comanches can focus on a different lane with pursuit as long as you don't have both lanes being overwhelmed
Top path is a DPS powerhouse, good against most Moab’s but less good at huge bloon rushes and hitting multiple targets.
Bottom path is cheaper, summons small heli’s making it pretty good at managing many Bloons at once. It also has Moab shoveback at tier 3

Flies fly up first when they take off , it’s best from straight above. But you’re experience is different and valid.

This map is made for, heli, sauda, tack zone, and glaive lord.
Blaming Heli's when it's all Quincy's fault.
Only a handful of combos that can 2TC, and Apache prime is in half of them.
You where thinking about it all wrong. Sauda and Apache prime was enough popping power. The rest of the money would be a lot better spend on spamming moab sboves and a couple downdraft for more or less permastalling anything but a bad (which sauda and apatche can kill on their own)

Prime solos almost every thing,and with bufs he just solos all the chimps
Flys fly forward so you come with your hand from their face side cause when they lift off to dodge they flying right into your hand.
It really make absolutely no sense that the apache dartship cannot pop DDTs. I mean, sure it shoots darts but it also shoots missiles that should be able to do at least a little bit of damage to them. It's extremely inconsistent to say their missiles don't have DDT popping power when the bomb tower missiles do
Should have Quincy on strong, as he gets bonus damage vs. MOABs.

I think it's kinda lame they nerfed Geraldo by making him more expensive. IMO he's the perfect tower for defeating CHIMPS solo since he's the only tower where his strategy would go beyond just placing him and getting upgrades. He should have been nerfed through his power, not just making him impossible to buy in CHIMPS.

Also I don't think you picked the right map for this. With bloons moving all over the place in so many different routes, you're not getting as many pops from your helipads as you should.
You would have had much more success on a linear map.
