Great job! The new space is looking great. Very overdue to come back out. Planning to in December. Looking forward to coming out for espresso (my other new hobby).
We were just talking about you last night. We are thinking of bringing in board games for people to play and wanted to pick your brain on some of the latest, greatest, games we could stock our shelves with. I'll shoot you a message.
I'm curious: on a pay for play how do you keep track of who is supposed to be in the arcade playing? Seems it would be hard to track if people are coming in at all different times, especially when it's busy. Also, if you find someone staying after their time expired, how do you handle that?
I stamp hands with the time their session ends. I also keep a list of time stamps and descriptions of people (IE; dude with red shirt) at the front counter. I do have to remind people their time had ended, but not often. Most people are pretty good keeping track of their time.
@@Pinballorama Thanks for your response. Not that I am going to open an arcade anytime soon, but I asked Chatgpt for its advice and it came up with a lot of different ways. Including RFID. One interesting way a necklace or wristband which turns red when the time is up so you can spot people on the floor easily. Also, you'd probably be embarrassed if were playing after it turned red. Anyway, great looking business. Continued success to you. It's not every business that you participate in making people happy.

@@PinballoramaI’d be happy to provide some ideas!
congradulations and best of luck at your new dig's !
Looking great, good luck!
Congrats on the new space, love the floor and dark walls. Has a more arcade feel
and like you said the high ceilings are great
Maybe honor the helpers with a 'High Score' Wall/Hall of Fame Wall adorned with some employee of the month style headshots. The new place looks great!
Hmm, I guess I need to visit PEI
With the UV Reactive flooring, no carpets, has Max been made redundant?
