  • Instead of saying, “I’ll pray for you,” new agers say: “I’m sending you love and light.” But what is the source of this love and light, and what is a lightworker? This video compares the new age and Theosophical beliefs with Biblical definitions of love, light, and light-bearer.
“You do you” is the motto of the new age belief that love equals complete inclusiveness. Yet, new agers are also quick to leave people whom they consider toxic or negative.
The trouble with the all-inclusive definition of love, is that it means standing idly by while someone is committing sins that could lead them to hell. If we really love someone, we need to tell them the biblical truth that their sins will be judged, and could lead them to an eternity of torment, unless they repent and turn to Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commandments” recorded in John 14:15. Jesus’ commandments include staying away from idolatry and sorcery, as you can read in Revelation 21 and 22.
The Bible also tells us that true love is what Jesus did for us on the cross, dying for us, while we were yet rebellious sinners.
