I work near TSA and trust me, they literally HAVE to do all this. They’re even provided picture books to do all these step-by-step patdowns..... and it doesn’t even end there; they HAVE to do it in order, otherwise they can get in trouble... they can’t even do it in any order they want to. And believe me; they’re not molesting nobody. They themselves absolutely hate it... they have to do it for the cameras to see that they’re doing their job and for their snitch coworkers to see that they doing their job. Sometimes if their supervisors aren’t near they’ll skip the pat-down search, and that’s why sometimes they get in trouble. If their supervisor is there with them tho, ya they’ll do it all. They’ll do anything and everything because it’s all in the books and it’s protocol. But trust me they absolutely HATE IT. You think they want to be on their knee sliding their hands down your ugly ass for 20 minutes? No bitch. Y’all should experience this FIRST HAND. You don’t even know how shitty it is to feel like your molesting people, while in fact you’re simply trying to keep your job. I see TSA workers like all day,, and they’re the nicest people. They’re seriously just doing what they’re told to do.
Yes, thank you. I'm a G. P. G. in Italy (Security armed guard), and we have an entire book where is written everything. Before getting the job (this in Italy, idk in other countries how it works), we have to study and give 2 exams, in 2 weeks. The commission is formed of Police officers and Carabinieri. One is theory (with some english questions) and the other one is practice (Pat-dow, luggage check with x-ray, etc.).

The TSA lady didn't even check her waistband or anything, just peaked at her exposed body. I've been asked to lift my shirt every time I fly so they can access my waistband. it's a breach of privacy

If you look around the airport there are actually signs (at least at every airport with tsa). If you aren’t comfortable being subjected to their screening find a different form of transportation. It’s women like you who sexual abuse over screening protocols that give women who truly suffer from sexual abuse trauma a bad name. You’re the kind of person who makes people second guess REAL VICTIMS. Get it together!
