Memories of Growing up with Comcast Cable in Maryland and seeing Lou Tilley on CN8 out of Philadelphia broadcasting Baltimore Blast/Philadelphia Kixx Soccer Games, Trenton Titans ECHL Ice Hockey Games, and I believe Bowie Baysox, Frederick Keys, Delmarva Shorebirds, and Reading Fighting Phils Baseball Games.

there was nothing like the Civic Center and the Blast in the 80s.

How about something like this from the PA announcer...
'Heinz Wirtz called for tripping at 2.28. Wirtz, 2 minutes for tripping at 2.28.'
      'BLAST ONNNNN THE POWER PLAYYYYYYYYY'
Makes me misty eyed just remembering it.

Attendance for Game 5 of the 1984 MISL Championship Series was a Baltimore Blast franchise record (at the time) crowd of 12,007 fans.

Where can I get an 80s Baltimore Blast Jersey at??

Good question. I was lucky enough to get a Michael Collins game-worn jersey from the year after they won the championship with the patch on the sleeve.

Sockers took the year off and played in the NASL. Blast wouldn't have won otherwise.

@@keithh9212 I'm not even a Sockers fan and I know that to be true.

@@rheintz3480 it's pretty impressive that y'all know the certainty of past events in a different universe. Shame for y'all that we dont live in that universe, though i guess I can say if we did, I feel justified to make the claim that the new Sockers wouldnt have won any of their most recent championships if they played in the same leagues as the Blast had been, so i guess it evens out in this hypothetical universe where only one league existed.

Probably right to be honest, the Sockers were the one team the Blast could not beat.

Then later they moved to the CISL which played in the summer.
