If you told me a couple weeks ago that without both franz and paolo, that we would beat miami and boston, then lose on a fade away game winner to miami in this 3 game stretch im pretty sure everyone a couple weeks ago would be thrilled with this 3 game result. Im not even going to say they should have won this game because if you take away every teams two best players how many of them are still competitve in games and even have a chance? Yes shooting and turnovers are a problem but also a problem that gets a little better when our stars get back. We're fine. When paolo went out after game 5 of the season. Pretty sure no one at that point expected us to be 19-13 at this time. And when franz and mo got hurt. I didnt think we could win a game until we got at least paolo back. We're fine
Facts, All of this is just giving confidence and experience to the rest of the guys. So when the stars get back we will be very much a scary team for anyone to play
Jalen was shooting some bricks they need to cut down on them crazy 3 pointers. He need to facilitate more then try to score to hard. You got KCP tight game and they don’t look for him. Look at Miami they was looking for various three pointers shooters. Magic need to learn time management when you have a big lead slow the game down and get good shots.
I don’t trust this bench at all without Mo. until we get our stars back and put some current starters on the bench . I’d say this is one of the worst bench units in the league. Really shows what Mos was doing even more impressive and how crucial of a crutch he was. Hoping he can become a coach for us the rest of this year because we desperately need that fire.
Spurs fan here. Let's get a 3 way trade going. Magic get Anfernee Simons, Spurs get Jonathan Isaac, Portland gets a mix of young players and salary match (from spurs), and picks from both teams. Win win for everyone. Magic need scoring but Portland doesn't want the Isaac contrac. Spurs need rim protection behind Wemby. Portland gets young players and picks.
Glad you’re saying the quiet part out loud. Suggs turned into Marcus Smart-including the weaknesses. First, Suggs isn’t the best player on the team in its current state. TDS and Goga are better. Second, Suggs is killing this team. He’s too emotional and immature to be the primary ball-handler, let alone the leader with our best players out.
Wasn't the turnover battle almost equal ? .. with both teams forcing each other into sloppy or silly TOs, and similar points off those TOs a a result ? If so, turnovers were a wash. Also, the notion regarding the Magic having left this one on the board is a wash as well because you can EASILY argue that the Magic STOLE the prior game against Miami. It is what it is .. make more threes like an NBA team should in 2024 and neither TOs nor J. Suggs temper does not matter last night. EDIT : I see Philip couched some of the game and TO analyses at the end of the video, mirroring what I wrote here Very good. ..... and Philip, it's not so much that the Miami couldn't score when the Orlando Defense was set, it's about Bam Adebayo regressing against Goga and other bigs this year. ... Adebayo is not the psychopath killer in the paint that Miami needs.
I challenge you to find a bigger fan of Suggs than me. That said, we have a massive issue (and gridlock) with Suggs at PG. Sorry to break it down to all my fellow Magic fans but we cant get to next level with Suggs at PG. In fact, Suggs at PG is impacting the 3pt shooting % for entire team. This is why KCP is struggling. Suggs' lack of play making means the team's 3pt shot attempts are not coming in the rhythm of the offense and oftentimes late in the shot clock. Suggs MUST move to SG which creates our next dilemma.... KCP can't start. In short, we need a PG that can create and shoot (spread the floor), then shift Suggs to SG and KCP to 6th man.
JI is doing a lot of nothing out there. Not sure what’s going on with his game but even when he’s in decent defensive position he doesn’t seem to be making the play
Well this his first year learning how to be a number 1 option I think he's doing great yall just complaining cause we loss the game if we won yall be suckin jalen cause of the points he had in the win
@@halftime814 nah I love Jalen but he's not a number 1 even if he is the #1 option all yr he will still be a better 3rd option he's not a ball dominant player and never has been
Put Da Silva in that Rookie Of The Year conversation!!!!!
100%

The record isnt a flex.
The east is mediocre this yr
2 and 3 on the home stand with the losses to New York, OKC, and Miami
It came down to turnovers and cole and Jalen hurt us bad with thise but atleast jalen had defense and pts to counteract
I knew we were gonna lose when Jalen lost his composure

As a magic fan Isaac is off the table but we're welcome to listening to Cole Anthony Gary Harris and Mo Wagner trades 😂😂
Yeah yall not getting Jonathan Issac so go away buddy😂 plus he's our only player who can lock down wemby and giannis so no..lol
You’ll are crazy, Isaac is giving us absolutely nothing he’s barely even playing
@@O.TownMagic saving him for the playoffs buddy
@@derickwhetstone5827 I hope nobody seriously believes that. What you see right now from him is what he is and it’s not good.
Dennison Schröder was on the market. They need a PG. Suggs is a SG.

Cole Anthony as well. He's not a good ball handler and he has many TOs.

Yeah we came back and won with him injured last time
