John and I had a great time and caught some good fish. Yes, this is winter crappie fishing in Texas, it does not get really cold here until about January. I tried a new way on the Active Captain footage, I simply let the phone record for 2 hours. This way I could capture both John and I catching fish. Let me know what you think of this method. For me, it was much easier as all I had to do was sync it with the video and cut out the unneeded parts. Normally I have to go back and figure out which clip went with each catch and that causes a ton of problems and time. Anyway, let me know your thoughts.

Thanks 👍 I found a new way to do it that is not so time consuming. There will be more. Basically I use an old phone to record it. In the past I would have 30 plus clips to go through, and they were in different orders. This time, I started it and never turned it off. The phone recorded for over 2 hours. This made it easy to sync it with when I turned it on and when we caught fish, I just backed up a little, cut out what I did not need and it was good. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Thank you! We had a good time and caught some great fish. The problem we had is I did not have a wind screen so he did not have a mic, so every time he came close to the camera and said something, we could not hear it. I have new windscreens for the mic coming so will not have that problem in the future.

Standing timber a great place for crappie to hang out on.
Oh yes, you are correct. The lakes around here are full of it which allows the crappie to spread out. I just really do not like fishing brush piles unless I am in an area that does not have standing timber. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Sure did enjoy your video sir, I bet that was a blast! Bit the bullet last year and purchased a livescope setup (LVS34/1022) for the boat. Man that thing really is amazing and just a ton of fun to utilize.

I recorded it before I picked up John and my Mic was not working so this one and next week will not have a prayer. I felt bad not putting it on there, but you could not hear what I said. Someone asked me last week. I shot this video and made it a 2 part because there was so much footage. The audio did not come out on the prayer so I could not use it. Because of that there was this video and last weeks that did not have a prayer and totally forgot to put a graphic saying that in the video. It will be back. Thank You for making me accountable. Wow, you must have had a terrible Christmas. Guess Santa didn’t bring you a livescope! 😂. What is sad is that you have to go on others (my) UA-cam channel and put a negative comment to make yourself feel better. I fished for many years with out livescope and can be successful, in fact have some videos out there without Livescope but again you have to make yourself feel better by trying (unsuccessful I might add) to tear someone else down. I hope you feel better getting that off your chest! Merry Christmas and happy New Year!
