- This is the ultimate study music playlist for concentrating, focusing, and thinking. This is a collection of almost all the piano music for studying to help concentration and focus I have written so far. The playlist include study music that I have composed since 2010-2014. This is 4 years in the making. As many of you know, I have also been in medical school for the last 4 years as well. Thus, as I listen to this playlist, I see my experiences, studies, cramming time, tests and exam anxieties, all-nighters, etc. all flash before my eyes.
For those of you who have been following me through this journey and have kept up with this channel, I would love to hear stories of what these pieces trigger in your memories.
Thank you for those who have been with me on this incredible ride of music and medicine. I hope that my music has helped you focus, concentrate, or even relax and sleep. If it has benefited you in anyway, then I would consider my efforts worth while.
And also for those who have inquired about sheet music, I do not have any. Many of these songs were recorded in the midst of my medical school obligations and studies. I barely had enough time to release them. I'm really sorry!

I have been using this since 2014 in my first year of college, This piano is not just for focus but it’s also bring back the nostalgia and realisation about the time when I was too worried a night before the exam and now it seems so silly

My mum is alcoholic and everytime she's drunk and throws stuff at me because I take her glass away, I run back into my room and listen to this. I can force myself to concentrate on the important stuff again while listening, and I really thank you for uploading this video. It makes me forget and enjoy my life for a moment.

+Lizzy Lou i know the feeling, have the same situation but with my dad. Dont let it rule your life, its worth so much more then just thinking about your mum. This is something that she eventually needs to do on her own if she ever wants to stop ( to late for my dad). But enjoy life, still talk with your mum, but enjoy the good days and when she is in her bad state then go away and stop bring yourself more and more and more pain by trying to help her, cauze eventually she needs to want it herself and needs to do it herself

I started listening to this playlist when I was in 7th grade, a mere middle school kid. Now I'm 19 and nearly halfway through my bachelors degree in biology, still listening to the same playlist as before :)

Yeah, same! Started in middle school too, and will graduate from my bachelor's degree in a week, this is lifeeeeeeee, I'm decided to have them on my wedding if I ever have one.
listening from 2014, was my second year in engineering school, now I am 28. The years went by so fast.
I'm crying.
I used to play this video when i needed to concentrate and just that. Some days it was homework, some days I just wanted to hear this... and then I started hearing this on my free time when reading.
I cried hundreds of times because the music complimented the sad stories, the happy stories, the wholesome stories.
Years have passed since I did this. A lot of memories are attached to the songs on this video. I have been having some anxiety and depression issues... some minutes ago I remembered those days without worries and I remembered how I used to read while hearing this video as background and I came back.
I was having and anxiety attack just a while ago and just by playing this video I slowly calmed down
I didn't know how much impact this video could have on my life the day I looked for "study music" but it seems this is now therapeutic for me.
from "study music" to "free time music" and finally "therapeutic music" this is now a video that has some value in my life
If you read this I hope you get to accomplish everything you wish to do. Life can get though sometimes but there are definitely little things like this video that can make a day bright. Never let go of those and live with confidence!
Now, go get that homework finished, or keep studying. Everything will go fine, we are capable of everything!

I still come back when days get though, somehow this comment section feels so wholesome and I love that we can share this space to help each other and how it evolved from being simply a music comment section to those typical “get back to your homework!” but now you can read more often those comments that inspire and share experiencies. It’s like a new home found by just a little search I did long time ago trying to study calmly, thank you for being here you all, I love how [this] exist. Also the edits are made because english isn’t my first language and I still make many mistakes, I still try to correct them when I see them, but the message is not changed at all.

You know that anxiety you get when you know you can start on your paper but you don't and you stress about how you don't start even though the paper is easy and manageable, but like you're waiting to be more stressed so you can do the paper but at the same time, you want to start as soon as possible but you just can't.

Whenever I want to write, I play this composition of yours, Dennis. I am a 72-year-old undergoing psychotherapy for anxiety disorder with depressive features. After about four months of therapy, I thought of writing about my journey and your music brings about ideas that I could not otherwise think about without this background. This too beautiful. I can't study with this music because its TOO beautiful. When I heard this music, I thought about my big brother. Just like you, he was a medical student. Just two months ago he lost his fiance to a stroke. She was 31 years old. They were together for 15 years and planned on getting married this coming July after he finished his fellowship. They called each other every night and morning to tell each other "I love you." She was his rock and the love of his life. I cannot explain how much my heart hurts for my brother's heart. She passed away the day before his birthday, and was buried on the day of her own birthday. I love my brother so much, I don't know how to console him or even bring the subject up. Your music makes me just want to cry. I know you wrote your music to reflect your schooling but when I hear it, it reminds me of my brother's love for the love of his life. My intention was to find some music to study with, and instead I'm sitting here crying my eyes out thinking about my dear brother. Thank you for your music. It's truly a beauty.

This is the very first time I comment on UA-cam. The reason why I immediately comment is that your music has a magic to me. I am not kidding.
I am not so sure how I can describe how I am feeling right now. I chose the music randomly for my studying. But while I was listening, suddenly all the best memories in my secondary school just came back and I felt overwhelmed with these happy feelings.
Because of some personal problems, I did not contact anyone of my friends for more than 2 years. I leave all of them behind, especially my 3 best friends Tran, Van and Ngan. I keep asking myself why after I listen to your music, I could not stop myself from missing them, their lovely faces, their smiles and the time we had together.

Listened to this when I was studying in secondary school - only playlist that calmed me down enough to focus. Returned to it in times of need during med school. Now, 8 years later I'm here again refreshing ECGs before I head back to work in ED. Seems a few others have similar. Quite nostalgic. Cheers for the awesome music.

Since those days, your piano arranges have help me passing many many exams, tests, high school entrance, high school graduation, university entrance... Can't believe I'm back here again. Not because of you, but I was here about 5 years back when I was still a diploma student, when I was so afraid of failing and redoing any modules, so whenever I stayed up late to study I was always here.
And then kinda slacked my way through my degree and didn't study much, nothing was tough so I didn't have to visit here.
And now I'm back here, studying for my Certified Accountant (CA) foundation papers happening tomorrow and the day after, and it just brought back so much memories, as if these music was part of my journey.

And here I am, 11:08 pm, Friday night with a party in front trying to study urinary system and kidneys' anatomy :)

2023 and I find myself back to this video. I was in middle/ high school back then my goodness the change 9 years can make. The nostalgia of these songs is truly surreal about to make a gigantic life decision and I felt it right to momentarily come back to this video I’m so glad to have found it 9 years ago and now I’m glad I’ve revisited it!

I listened to this playlist all through college, constantly wondering if I was gonna make it through. But here I am, I made it. Thank you for this. Every time I had to buckle down in the library and study, be it finals, homework, or just try to de-stress, this is what I came to. Now listening, as I crunch into my work projects. This music takes me back to those times. It's quite nostalgic, to know that this was the music that guided me through college and now for the rest of my life.
