      Absolutely. The belligerence in the first bar of Dysphoria and the sweeping finale it runs into is one of my favourite aspects of this album. Add to that the dip down into Everythng's Mirrors and you got a fantastic album to listen to just about anywhere.

    ahh...the album I listened to the night before my father died. I was smoking a cigarette while staring at a clear November night sky, little did I know my father would pass away the following day. Everything was calm that night, cold breeze, a clear night sky dotted by stars...hmmm been avoiding this album since. But here I am again.

    You know that feeling when you're (metaphorically speaking) elevating into the sky, pathologically on a journey to discovering higher self, induced with potential valour, vitality and heroism? Yeah... Cloudkicker are magnificent to deliver such concept in music as powerful and comforting as I let my thoughts wonder in sync, within my own solitude.

    • @Handles-R-Lame
      @Handles-R-Lame 8 років тому +2

      Music allows for this vent to occur(along with other everyday life mysteries) however too many people, sadly, are presumptuous and care not even give it a listen. Also to add on ur topic, i feel people with a more acute sense of self-awareness seem to at least be "collectively in tune" with one another.. For instance, i have no past recollection of is ever meeting, but i feel we could agree on many things and even tell that your a sensible person because of point of view. I feel, within me at least, that we are all one being, and yet we all share the collected energy, which resonates forever and is never ending. Just my crazy idea. 💡

      I have been listening to Ben for a decade and I almost can agree but I try not to put any thing above others because of stuff like Plini, Animals as Leaders and Polyphia, they are all rocking their own version of greatness and Ben with Cloud Kicker I think is a top contender for what he does and could be one of the best of his particular style. I do hold his music value in my top 10 for sure though. It's been a great experience listening to this over the years

      We are here now. That's why I believe there will be a next life. This world is unfathomable and mysterious, it is hubris to deny the potentiality of existence. You may say it is wishful thinking that we will have a next life, but if you know any struggle or suffering, you may find it wishful thinking to believe that you will not continue after this body dies. If you do indeed continue on, you are only doing yourself a disservice by not tending to yourself. Also, fuck religion, spirituality is where it's at.
