So this was one of my favorites. And I cried so much watching you spread your wings. And all of you singing to Dancing Queen. But also laughed and smiled watching all of your personalities. And Gabi guiding Lulu down that little embankment. And Coopie eating the pinecone. You’re going to have so much fun out there! Love you Bri!! ❤️❤️❤️
I used to live in Colorado too. I lived there from 1999 to 2005. House I lived in a two story house on East Nassau place in Aurora. I also would play on my swing set in Colorado and I played in my dinosaur sand box and swim in an inflatable pool. I also had an outdoor playhouse that I would play in. I also had a pink room when I was little and a blue room. I also slept in this pink play house when I was little. Holidays We would light up fireworks every 4th of July at our court we lived on. I also would get dressed in my snow suit every Halloween I lived there because it snowed on Halloween back then. My parents would also sort out my Halloween candy because back then I could not ear Gluten. I also went camping with my parents for my 8th birthday with my dog Koda who was mean to me at the time. I also would have gluten free birthday cake too when I was younger. One time on my mothers birthday one year I saw a tornado near our house it was so close to it it was in a field close to where our court was. School and Friends. I went to school at Dakota valley. I remember parent teacher conferences in Kindergarten. I also made a clay turtle in 1st grade and a clay frog in 2nd grade which I still have today. I also made a clay coyote once. I also have pictures of me in school play when i was either in 1st or 2nd grade. I also went to the Denver zoo and the Science museum there too. I also sang my school song in music class as well as god bless America in music class. I also played Keybo somtimes and went on the starfall website in school which I still go to occasionally. I also had a hawaiian theme party when I get ready to leave Dakota Valley behind when I was get ready to move out of Colorado and I still have a scrapbook and some toys from the party. I also went to a friend birthday party at the arcade one year and I would often have gluten free treats in school when a birthday was celebrated for my class. One time I set a timer in a classroom. One time a girl named Asia told me to skip class and go to another one and I did get in trouble. One time my mother sent me to school in short because she thought it would be 70 outside but it ended up snowing instead. One time I had spent recess inside because it was 107 outside and the staff did not want the kids overheated. I also dressed up as a witch one time for a Halloween party at school. I also used to talk to my friend Candy at recess sometimes too. One time I had spend 10 minutes at the wall on recess at school. I also met my friend Nadia in Colorado after she and her parents moved to Colorado from Texas where she was born. She also had a big 3 story house with their rooms on the 3rd floor plus the main second floor plus a basement. Anyways my first memory of Nadia was at a hotel dance party. I was in the room with her playing with the kids while the adults were in another room dancing. I also played Ryan and Emma at there house sometimes in Colorado springs. One time we played on something outside that we climbed i do not know what this and cant describe it and Emma told me it going to rain. One time I went to a birthday party for a boy named Phoenix. I have pictures of me at his birthday party. Shopping For shopping we went to the Aurora mall. There I would go on the carousel until it was removed in 2004 for remodeling the mall although at that time I did not know this until last year when I found out online. One time on carousel I sat with another girl on the bench so she would not be alone. I also went to the arcade and got some plush garfields from the claw machine which those i do not not have anymore. I also went to the Park Meadows mall sometimes. In fact I just visited there last in 2015. I also went to the Cherry creek mall too sometimes there I played on the breakfast play structure there at the time its not there anymore sadly. I also made some Build a bears there. I also would shop at King soopers with my parents for my gluten free food. Swimming I also went to The Trails Recreation Center for swimming. I would often do the blue and green slides with my dad since I was too afraid to do it myself it was not until I was 16 i grew out of this fear. I also swam at an inflatable pool at home too when I was little.
This was amazing. Thank you so much for your response! I loved to hear about your experiences out here. It seems like it was filled with nothing short of beautiful memories 🤍
Hi! New here! Colorado seems like a dream to live! You’re so brave moving so far away from family but you totally got this! The views on the hike were 😍😍
So inspiring! I graduate college next year and am from the east coast. I am graduating before all my friends and my boyfriend but am really considering colorado but am so scared to leave everyone behind!
Ahhh congratulations!!!! That’s definitely a big deal making a move like that. There’s a lot of friendly people out here and I’m sure you’ll be able to make some friends. Hopefully your boyfriend and friends would be able to come & visit!!! It’s a great place for sure
You have an adorable dog and isn't that view of the mountains heading down the hill on I-70 westbound just fucking gorgeous? One of my favorite things about CO.
I’m planning on moving to Denver in May from Detroit. I’ve been many times and when I leave it never feels right, like I should stay. I see so much hate for the city online and I can’t figure out why. Sure it’s pricey than some other cities but it has much to offer. I see complaints about crime but it’s like, that’s what happens in big cities and can guarantee it’s safer than Detroit!
Hey Jared! If it feels that way I think you should definitely give it a try!!! I think it is a bit pricey but the wage is somewhat higher bc of that. It’s like any big city, you can find cheaper places to live just gotta look a bit harder. I also hear moving in the winter months is the cheapest because that’s when no one wants to move lol. I live outside of the city and don’t ever feel unsafe and I have plenty of friends who live downtown and haven’t had any issues. I think you should definitely see it through!!
For a big city not much crime still!!! Most areas safe!! Many suburbs don't feel like a big city!!! Get out of Yuppiefied overpriced LoDo and hit Golden Lakewood or Arvada!!!
I'm leaving from Fort Walton Beach in a few months moving to Aurora/Denver. Any specific pointers you might be able to give? I will be moving by myself.
I would recommend breaking the drive up in 2 days (or more, if you have the time.) I stopped around Dallas and that felt like a good halfway point, plus it’s easier to find hotels there than many other parts of Texas!! I drove through Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, the top of New Mexico then to Denver. Driving at night can be rough in certain parts of these states and I actually hit a deer on my drive in, so make sure you’re safe and prepared.
Now that you have been here a bit what are the 2 best things and 2 worst things about being here? Would love to connect as a native always interested to see what people are feeling about moving here.
Hi Jeremy! I will say the 2 best things about Colorado are 1) the people, everyone is extremely down to earth and inviting & 2) the plentiful of outdoor activities 2 worst things could be 1) driving in the snow lol…. And 2) kinda pricey! I would love to connect though and get some solid recommendations from you. Do you have Instagram??
Hi I’m trying to move to Denver in about a year or two I would love some tips on how you did it & it’s inspiring seeing you make a big move like that and I’m from Louisiana btw
Hey! I’d love to answer any questions you have. It’s a big move but it’s definitely worth it to get out there and try something new. Save a lot of money, try to move with as minimal amount of furniture/items as possible, make sure you’re prepared for the winter!
@@briilynchh I have a lot of money saved , I’m just building my credit rn & i love the winter that’s why I’m moving out there & mostly trying something new that’ what I love I’m adventurous but how the cost of living
