- Am 09.11.2019 war es mit einer großartigen Veranstaltung wieder soweit. Das Berlin Tattoo 2019 war zu Gast in der Max Schmeling Halle Berlin.

Da steh oder sitze ich im Wohnzimmer und dirigiere so manches Musikstück nur so für mich aus Spaß.Ich bemerke dabei das ich ein gutes Gefühl für den Takt habe
Ich habe schon viele Musikkonzerte erlebt ,aber was einem in der Max Schmeling Halle geboten wurde war einmalig und bewundernswert.Weiter so, wäre sehr schön.😁🌹

Great tattoo Berlin! Great use of the pipes and drums. The German military bands music is wonderful. German folk are to be much admired in my Scottish opinion, and great friends too.

Musik verbindet die Menschen aller Nationen.
Es war eine schöne Veranstaltung,Ich werde sie mir in 2020 wieder ansehen.Ich hätte mir allerdings gewünscht das die alten Kameraden noch zum Zug gekommen wären. Ansonsten toller Nachmittag.
Das war unwahrscheinlich schön.Alle Beteiligten haben ein ganz tolles Konzert geboten.

Aber warum heißt diese Veranstaltung "Tattoo"?
Das klingt nach einer anbiederischen Verbeugung vor diesem widerlichen Körperkult!

Nein, das hat mit dem "Körperkult" nichts zu tun. Im Militärischen heißt das nichts anderes wie "Musikparade" oder auch "den Zapfenstreich schlagen", wie man das von Politikern kennt. Daher sieht man bei "Wind of Chance" auch die vier Mädels mit den Fackeln.

@@Rainerjgs Der Begriff des Military Tattoo stammt ursprünglich aus dem niederländischen: Abends wurde in den Kasernen ein Signal gespielt, um zu signalisieren, dass nun Zapfenstreich ist. Der Zapfhahn ("Tap") wurde zu ("toe") gedreht. Niederländisch "Taptoe". Daraus entwickelte sich in Europa der Begriff des "Tattoo", was Zapfenstreiche und heute große Militärmusikparaden beschreibt. Auch das Basel oder Edinburgh Tattoo tragen daher diesen Namen. Die Musikparade betreibt in dieser Tradition das "Berlin Tattoo" und einige andere Tattoos (Bremen, Hamburg) neben der normalen Tournee der Musikparade.

Es ist optimal organisiert und ein kulturelles Ereignis. Die Vielfalt der Orchester war gut ausgewählt. >> Immer wieder

But they show the flag of the European Union, and nowhere is the flag of the United Kingdom! The UK people have voted to leave the EU. What is going on?
Boult did not compose this, it was by Edward Elgar.
The Scottish flag is however there (the Saltire), perhaps the St George Cross is to the left? :-)

@@Greg_Romford If you really equal the EU with the nazis, I would question your mental health. I don't like the EU implementation with it's lobbying and economic only behaviour, but it is a peace instrument. This is contrary to the nazi regime. At the very heart, we should do anything but doing the same again. German citizens have the lowest country pride of all countries measured. And why should they or why should you? Being born on different sides of a drawn red line is not a good measurement of "good" or "bad".
@@Greg_Romford Lets just get things into perspective and the facts correct shall we, Hitler and his Nazi`s did not have any music of their own, all the music they used was composed in the years of the 2nd Reich, ie during the Reign of the Kaiser`s and was in fact wholly Prussian music.

Edgar Elgar kann man doch nicht von so einem Mischmasch spielen lassen ! Schade aber total versaut. Das ganze Arrangement war nicht gut.
Ich empfinde diese Mode des Tätowierens und Piercens als übertriebenen Körperkult und als völlig unnötig Selbstverstümmelung des eigenen Körpers, was oft nicht ohne peinliche gesundheitliche Folgen abgeht!
