@@eee1200 but the whole time it was pochita who was in control, so i doubt if denji was concious the time chainsaw fought katana, reze, and quanxi (villains denji once fought)
When makima fought denji there was katana man reze and some other devils i think he knows reze is dead since makima was controlling her body and there was chain connected to her

When you realize that Reze wasn't actually going to return until she saw the flower and realized that Denji also donated some money to that girl for the sake of those children and got the flower just like her...it makes it thousand times more painful

@@anshukandulna1844 Transformation devils are effectively immortal. You've seen the shit denji has been through, and he's still alive. A stab like that wouldn't kill denji, who is also a tranformation devil just like the katana and bomb devils. These devils reach their full potential when combined with a human, creating something so durable that it's basically immortal. That's what Reze and denji are.

Reze was about to get on the train and before she got to the train station , she donated some money to that charity and got a flower just like the one Denji gave her then realized she and Denji actually had a lot of things in common:
1) They both donated to the charity that help the unfortunate children
2) They are both parentless children that never went to school ,
3) They are both forced to fight, to kill people at a young age to make a living .
Having sympathy, Reze decided to go back to the cafe to meet Denji , it's actually sad when you figured it out
Truth man, when you meet someone that had almost same bad experience as you, your heart would've move since he/she probably the closest person that could understand you pretty well and make you feel like he/she is the one that God send to you for compensation after all the bad thing that happened in your life before.
I think this arc is pretty damn well written and the most meaningful arc of this manga 🤧
And they both were forced to fight for their higher ups that see them nothing but as weapons that are disposable (USSR & Public Safety)

@@supremegent1325 we know what we wont have to worry much because its Mappa, but at the same time, if they take up too much titles to animate, then atleast one title will get the short end of the stick.
and mappa is known as the studio that takes up alot of titles. thankfully that isnt the case for this season of anime.
@@Menace-To-Humanity I am kind of worried because they are working on the JJK movie, CSM, and AoT final season part 2. Then again the CSM trailer gonna be on MAPPA's 10th anniversary. There is kind of no room for a fuck up, failure just isn't an option at that point.
I swear this fandom is going to animate the anime before MAPPA finishes lol, not complaining though

I think it was supposed to mean that she also liked the ilusion of being in a school, being a normal girl and date a normal guy, so she also wanted to escape.
yeah because reze was like "you never went to even primary school? that's kinda of bad... less bad I guess more like weird" then we are shown that reze is one of those children who were kidnapped by the russian military or something so she never went to school she was trained harshly and subjected to experiments
When 2 people grew up or went through similar environments, theres just a sense of connection or comradery altho quite small. These 2 just want normalcy.
it's a teaser that she'll be back to school with Denji in part 2 which has a highschool theme. Let's gooo

This reminds me of when himeno died. Aki didn't realize how much he cared and loved her until he saw her die. He didn't want it to happen again to people he cared about. They were both in love imo but aki never showed it. When reze died, she realized why she didn't automatically kill him she realized the care and love she got for Denji. She didn't realize until she was "killed." They all deserved so much better.

I don't think aki loved (in a romantic way) himeno, and if he loved her, it was in a way more like he adored her, as a partner, so Himeno was really important to him in an endearing way.

This is what the anime needs to be like. I was so surprised when makima started talking, and it was actually really good.
色っぽくて、ミステリアスなマキマさんの声に、みずみずしい少女の声のレゼ、チャラッチャラしててバカっぽいデンジ。最高

What makes me tear up with this scene isn't reze's death, it's the last panel where denji holds the flowers. Sad that all only thing he'll know is that reze never came and stood him up.

AVINASH It's kind of hard to say whether or not she'd beat Reze if she had the chance to transform though since hybrids are extremely hard to kill in their devil form. To say nothing of whether or not Denji also joined in.

i like the subtle detail of drawing in color as she approaches the cafê as it shows how her life was going to get better until makima showed up where the screen goes back to being dark and drawn without color .

personally, i think reze is the best girl for denji. screw makima.
Reze likes the country mouse. Makima likes the country mouse. Quanxi says ignorance is bliss. Everyone tried to pull Denji in a direction other than his own.
But if the country mouse and city mouse met each other and became friends then they'd learn from each other. The country mouse would teach the rat how to hide in plain sight and the city mouse would teach the country mouse how to hunt for good eats.
Makima is idealistically a country mouse due to her yearning for utopia (and no bad movies) but she acts more like a (hunter) dog (of the chainsaw devil).
Denji and Power are the main city mice whereas, Reze and Aki are the main country mice.
This is amazing!!! The animation is great, and the voice acting is incredible! For a second I thought the audio was from an official source! I also love the included flashbacks, it adds a lot to the scene and is totally something an anime would do! Great work to everyone who worked on this!

I can't believe I've already read this manga months ago, I start to forget about few things on the storyline. Time flies so fast and I'm here crying over this rn. I'm not mentally prepared to see the anime adaptation version, I'm gonna lose my shit all over the place seeing them die one by one.
