My experience with Sinister is the opposite of yours. Thought it was ok for the first time and absolutely fell in love with the second time. I think it has to do with expectations too.
I'm building my collection because I'm on a 80's horror kick. I just got Fun House. Soooo good.

I hated Nightmare 4 when I first saw it. But it became my favorite of the whole series after revisiting it. No joke
I just wanna say, That Freddy vs Jason is a great movie from 2003, the House of 1000 Corpses and Saw. Those movies are amazing.

Each movie is digitally remastered as well, so they all look really good despite being on dvd

FT13th in 3d is really fun to watch with those old school 3d glasses!

nice collection! is the exorcist dvd the original cut? or the 25th anniversary cut? (with the spider walk scene), i ask because i always thought the exorcist was boring too until i saw the original cut. the pacing is a lot better in my opinion
It is the one with the spider walk scene. I ended up trading it in somewhere but ill keep in mind to check out the original cut!
@@cynachop it’s a lot better in my opinion. Plus when I rewatched it I actually thought it was really funny. Something I didn’t think when I was younger

If you like the summer camp atmosphere, you need to watch the Burning. It was written before f13th, but f13th got put out first. The burning is one of my favorite slashers ever
