Another UA-camr had an issue with them after a long relationship. She purchased and her invoice did not say final sale neither did the website. When she got the bag, what they described as darkening of the leather was actually color transfer. They refused to take the bag back and said they would put her on the fraud list. She contacted her credit card company. They investigated and credited her back for the bag and told her she did not need to send it back. I also just saw another UA-cam video captioned no longer buying from Rebag.
I saw that video! I linked her video in my show notes too. It's crazy. I like to take screenshots of what I buy. I think you also get an email confirmation of your purchase which should show "final sale." It sucks that we have to start having a mentality of "trust no one" imaging back in the day, people do deals based on a hand shake!!!
OMG, I am so sorry that you had to deal with that mess. Yep, I stopped shopping at Rebag after my situation, they definitely need better customer service to deal with issues.

They did that to me too I had sold them dozens of items (diamond status as well), some of items they didn't have instant quotes so I had took very detailed pictures and wrote down extremely clear descriptions as I have done to all my buyers. They would lower my quotes when they received my items and a few times even rejected my items. I think their quotes were higher than they were willing to pay. I no longer selling to them since they don't keep their words. I'm an honest seller, no need to deal with people or business act like that.
Yea that's really disappointing. I've had that happen to me multiple times but it was like 50-150 bucks so sometimes I just take it so I don't have to deal with the hassle. But yes, it seems like they are trying to take advantage honest people. Sorry you had to go thru that. What platforms have done right by you so far? Fashionphile?

@@Wow-pv4qg Really? Did you see @thehandbaghousewife video? She had some issues with Yoogi's closet. I guess no platform is perfect. Which I'm ok with as long as they take actions to make things right. Hopefully we all have less drama and more success in the future!

I feel your pain. Rebag sold me a fake LV strap. They would not take it back. So after trying to talk to a representative which I found out is not stateside I got no where to go. So I like you canceled Rebag.

They stole my bag recently they claim never received even though they sign it in from fed ex missing can’t find it my Louie Trevi I was doing a trade like I paid over 100,00 for that bag they gave me a credit of500$ after a month of back and forth with them a de fed ex like no I’m suing

Thanks Anny! So much drama. It's funny you say that. Before I uploaded my video I showed my friend the thumbnail to ask her what she thinks. She's said I love it, so much drama!! 🤣🤣yea playing in the pre-loved market space..you can research all you want sometimes but for you to be successful at it...it's definitely mostly thru experience. I have plenty of good and bad.
Yes! I'm excited to do those video. This is my first real vacation since last November. Long overdue. Need...before I pull my hair out with work. I am still waiting on my oversized mirror to arrive. I had this happen with my store bought evelyne TPM only worn once...they also said the same thing to me. There must be something that happens with the individual authenticating the item, but to get an answer while getting the run-around makes it not worth it.
Was this recent? Maybe they're having trouble hiring the right people to do that job. Still, it's their responsibility to ensure their clients get a good experience regardless of what internal problems they have. Guess what, now they've lost a great client. Sorry you had to go thru that.
I too have had the same thing happen to me on my first trade with them. I know my bag was authentic because I bought it from LV. They won’t say exactly what the problem is. Turned out on my bag it was a never full in empreinte leather in the dove color which has issues on discoloring. I took it back to LV and my SA gave me full price for it. As for the instant Clair, sometimes they quote one and sometimes they ask for pictures. It’s a 2 edge sword because they don’t take in consideration limited editions. Rebag rejection of an item with no explanation is a deal breaker. Btw, please show your face!!
Yea i've heard of issues with the LV empreinte leather. especially the glazing. I've only owned the Mazarine which I sold recently and the MM on the go. Both have been fine for me fortunately! Well I think they should take into account seller history. If you never had issues with me, dont you think that should be taken into consideration? All I'm asking is for explanation. They wouldnt give me any form of explanation. If IT WAS a fake, you should let me know so that I can take the appropriate actions. I'm glad they did give you an explanation so that you could in turn go back to LV. Right??

@@Somehowadulting no they didn't give me a reason. They did to me exactly what they did to you. Script writing with no explanation. I sold it on eBay and the authenticator told me about the discoloration. I finally saw it when i got it back and that's when I returned it. Rebag lacks a lot in customer service.

I would be so frustrated with this situation. Especially with a 2 year history with them. I feel like Rebag was trying to get more out of you. I’ve only used Rebag once and it was a good experience. I use Fashionphile a lot and I’ve had issues with them but they’re the only one I really trust
I didnt want to make this video super long but you know what? You're absolutely correct. I've sold/traded so many things with them that the more recent submissions they've come back a number of times "this is a lower quality than original indicated." It's like no, this is exactly how you described the rating. They would come back with a lower offer. Usually it's like an 50-150 less than what was promised. Depending on the item i'm like sure whatever. I dont want to deal with it. Ya I agree with you, fashionphile has not crossed me yet. Seems like most people have good experiences with Fashionphile...for now.

Yes! I'm working on it. I ordered an oversized mirror for my living room and they're taking forever to delivery it....
They just did this to a gal I sold my red gucci camera bag to. She wanted to trade it, Rebag said it was authentic, but that there was some manufacturing discrepancy. I had got the bag from Rue-la-la. I called them and they had an authenticity certificate for it to email me, as they authenticate each bag. Rebag told the gal I sold the red Gucci that she had to pay the difference if she wanted to continue with the trade. She had submitted more than one item, and ended up cancelling the transaction. That Gucci bag was pristine, made better than all but 1-2 of my 6 other Gucci bags. I ended up having to pay the gal I sold it to what Rebag was going to pay her for her trade, plus shipping, and she sent it back to me.
How long ago was this? I feel like all the rebag issue i've seen have been in the last few months. I wonder if they're running into money issues since the preowned market has died down alot since covid. During lock down they're just buying anything and everything from people because it just flew off the shelf. I wouldnt have been mad if they just told me a valid reason. Even if it's oh we have too much inventory, we screwed up sorry. @winniebeelv did say the same thing too! Just be real with us and we would totally understand. Sorry that happened to you. I have purchase from ruelala before but my account got hacked and they charged me like 2k for something I did not buy. I haven't even logged into my account there for years. I had to go thru the hassle of contacting them to get my money back on my credit card.

Please take my comment with a grain of salt. That said, I think you are taking it personal, trust me I do understand the feeling, I would have probably felt the same😉. If they ask you for the picture, just send them , you will avoid the back and forth with any company, the stress and time wasted on the selling of your bags. Think like if it was Fashionphile and you will probably be better as you will get your quote before the sending and returning bags😅. As per their answer on your bag not been within their guidelines …. Idk sounds definitely strange specially if fashionphile aspected the bag without a problem. I know fashionphile is been super super busy, and that’s probably why they are taking forever to respond, but be at least happy you got a quote as I hear ppl complaining they are declining bags and not accepting many items. I am glad things worked out for you in the end😊, I have never bought or sold anything from Rebag but have been thinking to sell a Chanel bag and wanted to know different places so thanks for the input!
Yes I get what youre saying. I took it personal with rebag because of my history with them. Kind of like purchase history at a boutique right? It's like oh you've been a great employee for years then you make a small mistake (which in this case I did not or at least they don't tell me what it was) and you get fired or demoted. Not the same I know but it kind of is. Yes, I did submit a pair of YSL heels that I bought a year ago but never wore. Brand new. They wouldn't take it either. Btw. I gave Rebag a Chanel they sent it back saying it had damage. It was brand new bag never used. I think they just thought the quote they gave was too high. I will never buy from Rebag. Do not trust them. And READ the new terms.

Last Chance is owned by Nordstroms. So all their stuff comes from nordstroms. Their designer items definitely come directly from their main stores.
Could it be possible that Nordstrom buy in outlet style stock to sell at Last Chance?
@@katy3mpress anything is possible. but I doubt it because nordstroms return policy is so loose that they have so much inventory and won't need to buy from other sources.
Last chance is owned by Neiman Marcus. The inventory consists of items that did not sell at Neiman Marcus or their first tier discount outlet which is called “Last Call”. Counterfeit items are occasionally accepted for return unintentionally and can be returned to the floor especially at Last Call and Last Chance. This doesn’t mean your bag is counterfeit but it does happen there. I had a horrible experience with Rebag too. I only use fashionphile. Love your channel! Thanks for all you do! ❤️

I also had a horrible experience with Rebag. They lost a bag I sent them and never paid me for losing it. It was awful and I’m done with them.

That definitely sounds like corporate-speak for “inauthentic”, and like @DialMStyle said, at LV they will Never actually spell out that they think your bag is fake. They’re not allowed to use those words. Bet it’s the same.

Fashion file KNOWS what they are doing . They are legit
Fashionphile is hit or miss when selling to them. They can really low ball you sometimes. But the experience of selling to them has been great. Never had any issues!
