I was watching Pegula and Kenin playing previous to this match and I thought the speed of the court is faster this year, that might explain why there are upsets this year. I know Daniil Medvedev likes fast hardcourts so I would now make him hot favorite to win this year's US Open. Alexei looks skillful, he mixed in some nice slices to change the pace, I'm happy to see him go through.

When Popyrin took the Montreol title, he was playing the best Tennis of his life. I really enjoyed how he defeated Rublev in the final. In my view if he continues to play such a great Tennis like he played here, he can make it to top 10. What a brilliant player 💪👍
