Both cars should only put the car in manual to select the right gear, then switch it into auto to let the car shift. Looks like many runs were short shifted by *manually* shifting an automatic. LET THE CAR SHIFT ITSELF! Only use manual to pre select the right gear. Great runs though!
The camaro said it wasn't shifting when trying that. He said the car red lined and wouldn't go back into auto mode. I think some cars will do it and some won't. 👍
Fr. I hate when people use paddles/manual mode when they're racing automatic cars. They need to let the COMPUTER shift the gears. Many runs were short shifted on both cars.
I'm curious why there was no race from a dig. I would take that camaro all day from a dead stop. That dodge would spend So much time trying to feed its own weight.

Love this comparison but believe it or not that 5th gen weighs about the same as that superbee. They were on the hefty side .

That superbee weighs in at 3900lbs stock that’s why . Them things aren’t really slow , that 5spd is holding It back

Camaro needs driver mod lol
He was shifting the same way the Charger was. We tried to make sure he was in the correct gear every run.
L99 did great
It did, down 75 hp and torque and it’s 5th gen’s are pigs too. I’m impressed.
With his mods it's probably more like 50hp. Also the camaro is 410 torque stock that's 60 difference.. that's not a lot when the camaro is lighter.
