I agree with the 1 to 2 kids transition. My daughter and son have the same age gap as your kids and our daughter definitely found it hard adjusting to the attention being shifted. My youngest recently turned 2 and I finally feel like we’ve found our footing again. Always wanted to have 3 kids but now I’m not so sure anymore lol
I know the questions are very much around Alaina and the baby and I loved to know. But the part about Naeem and Omar was also so sweet because I can imagine Omar being a good role model for Naeem indeed and I think that's so cute. That's a real man right there. Haha, but it's winter now in Australia and it's our hottest august and was our hottest July in Sydney. In Cairns it's beautiful in the winter but yes still hot 😅

Leena, you can spend summer in Turkey actually. The west of Turkey (Bodrum, Çeşme, Datça etc.) is not as hot as south (Antalya) but it is still a summer location to go swimming and water sports. The nature, the sea is great and it still has a cool breeze in the evenings! It might be a bit too crowded depending on the time though since they are popular summer locations for Turkish people as well. But, with a bit of research you can find a long rental summer house for a reasonable price. I now live in the UK but miss my beautiful country so much! Lots of love and best wishes for your family ❤

You should go to southern Portugal next year in the summer! I just spent 1 month there (in Albufeira) and the weather is amazing, there are so many places to visit, such nice beaches. The nature is amazing and you can find affordable places 😍
We're visiting the Algarve in a couple of weeks with our toddler! Looking forward to it. Are there any particular places you recommend? I'm so excited to see the beach sunsets hopefully
@@aaisha... absolutely! If you pass by Albufeira, you should check out Falesia beach (red cliffs on a white sand beach). The nicest other beach in the area I’d say is Galé. The old town in the evening is super fun to visit too, around sunset time is the best for the views! A bit out of the center there’s the best ice cream place I’ve ever tried in my life called Pozzetti. If they have salted caramel: go for it!
On the south coast otherwise I really liked Lagos and Sagres. ☺️ pinterest was very useful to find the best places to visit!

i live in canada but lebanon is my home so i absolutely love it there, and i loved hearing it as your first option ❤️ its definitely nice weather in like june and starts getting hotter in july august but even in that heat its always so nice and beautiful out. Not to mention the culture and food, and being around muslims and the mosques, especially during the athan ❤️ i just spent 3 months there and it has my heart

I think you should visit Bosnia in summer or winter. Sarajevo is the capital city, the most beautiful city in the world :) The 14th Olympic Winter Games were held in Sarajevo in 1984.

@@valf156115You should go to Jajce, they have an amazing waterfall and nature. Also, Mostar is beautiful and it has a very famous bridge. I am Bosnian and have been 3 times so I hope that helps!!

I don't know if you've ever been, but I just visited my cousin's family in Sentosa Island in Singapore. It's literally the most beautiful weather, yeah it rains often, but the Singapore beaches are something else. There are so many things to do as a family and there's Universal studios which was fun! The food is exquisite, the shopping is amazing and it's honestly the cleanest city I've ever visited. You guys should plan to go down there one day!
Come to Finland. You will love the simplicity here. And summer is of course the time when everyone is outside.

I would definitely recommend that you visit Lebanon. I’m from Lebanon and it’s such a beautiful country. So different than what most media portray it, and not that expensive. I can help you plan a stay, and all your outings if you want to come here.

If you all want to spend an extended period overseas and not spend a lot of money, we love Home Exchange! We just spent a month in Iceland with our three kids and only paid for the plane tickets and the $149 yearly membership fee. You can swap with other people who have kids so you don’t have to pack as much. And, your membership insures your house, in case of any damage. We have never had an issue though as most exchangers are super considerate!
For the next Summer i recommend Bosnia, it can get warm but if you rent something near a Lake it is just perfect! Also its a mostly Muslim country so you dont have to worry about like food or things like that. 😊

Iceland! I’ve never been Iceland but have always wanted to go see the northern lights and Iceland’s snow…there’s a resort there called Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort! It’s cold and I think you and your family would LOVE it! 🤍

australia! specifically nsw sydney- VERY multicultural esp in the western suburbs, many muslims, lots of masjids, almost every meat and resturants are halal certified. but its expensive and if youre looking for somewhere "vacationy" maybe not? but def come down to visit. our autumns and springs are great, summer can get crazy and winter is a hit and miss.

Malaysia would be a good place to go for the summer for a good month or more, many fun stuff for both kids and adults and also very very reasonable, and very cheap most parts. it isnt cold, nor is it very hot, its a bearable whether more on the hot side than cold, but while you are doing alot of activities(loads of theme parks , both wet and dry) and site seeing you dont feel the heat at all, and malls and taxi are air conditioned so its all great.

Turkey is pretty diverse climate wise. It snows in Cappadocia, for example. The dollar goes a long way there, and the food is the best in the world.
I'm a mom of 3, and when we were in the thick of it, we felt like we'd be there forever. Many moms would tell me, "just wait, it gets worse." It felt like for a couple years we couldn't go to a sit down restaurant with the kids. It felt like we were stuck at home, and it was rough. Now that my youngest is 4, I can attest that it gets better. Hearing you guys talk reminded me of those hard times. Hang in there! It really does get better ❤

Lovely!! For the summer vacation, I'd recommend the **northern (east) Turkey**. It is not as hot, at all. The region is called Black Sea (some incredible cities are Rize, Trabzon, and Ordu), has amazing forests. Most of the locals spend their summer in the highlands, in the cooler climates. There are several hotels and bungalow facilities in the hills for tourists as well. And it is CHEAP.

Jordan and Lebanon are hot in the summer, lol. Reason lots of people from the Middle East go to Texas is that the weather is so similar. Mountainy areas are probably good.
