    Excellent tutorial!
I have notice a very recent trend is the use of knotted friendship bracelets as straps on sandals!
Some top designs are selling for huge $$$ on ebay. So as soon as I have learnt this gorgeous pattern (practicing with wool as I don't want to waste my silks in practice!) I am going to add this to brighten up an old pair of sandals I have. Top designers recently began adding pom poms & tassels to sandals too! Unleash that creativity lovely people!
Thank you for this Superstar! x

Well, thanks to this video I did--took me two weeks and I feel I know you, having listened to your video over and over! You are a great teacher. @@xHannahRose I don't know whether either of you two are still wondering but for *everyone* wondering, I've had recommendations for both 50 inches, and 6 feet--I think it just depends on how long you make your bracelets. I would suggest trying more like 50 inches for 5-6 inch bracelets, but stick to 6 feet for anything more, just to be on the safe side. You'd definitely rather have more leftover string vs not enough, so stick to whatever measurement you feel comfortable with!

Gulp- so this is gonna be my very first attempt at any sort of a "shaped" bracelet... I've kinda browsed a few different "bracelet tutorial" makers channels& there definitely aren't a ton of OPTIONS for these anyways- but, hands down I am PRETTY SURE I'm.at least gonna be able to make, well, SOMETHING that resembles a bracelet & it's not going to just be one of the same ol' flat, even, long-rectangular shapes that my other 1,287 or whatever that ive done are, so, THATS something at least?!
My ONE complaint, however- right off the bat- is that I really don't know 1) how you STARTED this bracelet?! Like, clearly it's taped down at the top- but, did you start with a loop or a braid or are they just 16 individually cut or 8 folded in half cut strings all taped down nicely (guessing that last one is probably a NO!?) And B) how LONG do the strings need to be for these sort of "shaped" patterns? I would generally assume that the strings need to be about 1 "windspan" width each then folded in half for a diamond-or "circle" shape, as you're referring to yours in this particular one- but, I am gonna assume that doing the knotting in-between each of the diamonds to bring the shape inwards then expand back out to become the next diamond etc *kind of like making a little tiny bracelet corsette... that's how I'm thinking of it?! Haha) especially where youre taking the strings & using them to knot all the way around, say, 3,4.. 7-8 strings; that is probaby going to use up quite a lot MORE length than just doing, well, let's say a normal diamond pattern would?!
But. Ack!!! I really.have NOOOO CLUE how long- or how much lonGER I should cut my strings!! 😰 I guess there's no chance I'm just gonna hold on off even TRYING TO BEGIN trying 1 of these until I MAYBE hopefully get some sort of an answer online somewhere or for someone to maybe respond to me HERE & help me out!!! Sooo. I guess I'm just gonna cut my strings all about a foot longer than I normally would/6" longer EACH & hope that's going to be enough?! (I mean it's not like I can't "splice in" some more strings if I run out somewhere- but MAN do I HAAAATE doing that crap!! & I'm quite adept at DOING SO now- but, still- if I can AVOID doing THAT& having to work with suuuuper itty bitty little scraggly ends for the last few knots then man I WOULD REALLY LOVE to have the numbers for the lengths& *hopefully!!*!AVOID!!any of THAT nonsense?!?
Those are my ONLY little silly complaints here... And maybe I would just automatically KNOW how you started your bracelet up there under the tape if I had already watched a lot more of your videos (but, I watched another person's tutorial videos for a long time when I was starting out just because she did hers WAAAAY more slowly & explained every single step quite thoroughly- which really WAS nice for beginners like me!!! But, I've certainly come a long ways in the last few years & have only in the past 4mos finally learned "how to read" all the row by row knot by knot *Quite tedious & time consuming! But hey at least it has allowed me to access a whole new realm of patterns i never thought I'd be able to do in a million years!*
Aaand sooo NOW that I feel comfortable with most of what are generally dubbed as being "intermediate" difficulty & am okay working with up to 12 strings- SEriooouuusly, MISS M.K?! 16 STRINGS?! that struggle IS TOOO REAL for me, anyhow?!!! I literally Just found my very 1st pattern I'm going to attempt with 14strings- I just haven't decided what 4 colors to use yet for it!
    Ack- I digress, Mucho!!!
Anyways- Ive watched this 2x without actually even TOUCHING any strings relating to this style/design just to get familiar with it but now I really AM starting one of THESE! *just w/6 colors &12 strings NOT 16 YOU LOON?!*
So, here I come full (ha!) Full CIRCLE BRACELET- MY first try with any shaped kind; here goes nothing!!!
    Thanks for the great videos!!!
    💜💙🥰😁🤯💛💚

i usually do wingspan length, then fold it in half, but if you’re scared you’ll run out i’d do a little more than wingspan. I always look at it as, if i have a lot of string left over, i can always make a ragrug bracelet with the extras :)
