I love the wooden dowel look, but I would keep the natural wood and stain it . And I can see them as plant stands .❤

I would have spray painted the z ties silver and then put them on there and use it as a plate holder in the kitchen or use it as a center piece on a kitchen table with a few decors on it!!!
