- Comparison between XUV300 Top vs Creta 2020 Base Model
Picking one between Top vs Base is very difficult & many customers are confused because of the same price point, here I have tried to compare both the variants on few points..
Hyundai Creta Price starts at Rs. 10.16 Lakh which is Rs. 2.20 Lakh costlier than base model of Mahindra XUV300 priced at Rs. 7.95 Lakh.
The claimed mileage of Hyundai Creta (Diesel Model) is 21.4 kmpl where as claimed mileage of Mahindra XUV300 (Diesel Model) is 20 kmpl.
In technical specifications, Hyundai Creta (Top Model) is powered by 1493 cc engine , while Mahindra XUV300 (Top Model) is powered by 1497 cc engine.

I had test drive of Nexon, Ecosport and XUV3OO. And booked XUV3OOW6 Das mt Sunroof.
I didn't prefer Creta because i need to go for aftermarket accessories and Service Cost is so high in Hyundai.
Bro kaunsi duniya me h, service cost toh Hyundai ki Mahindra se kam hi hai
Bro service is equal in both and dealer behavior in my city mahindra is better than lyundai
And also safety 🔥❤

I own xuv 300 turbo and kia seltos, when I compare both I feel seltos is unstable and 3oo is even stable on 180+ speed. Safety is robust like a tank.

Very bad experience
We had booked XUV 300 w8 optional at Harbir Automobiles dealership in Chandigarh.
And was about to recieve the delivery tomorrow 19/12/2021
But during Pre delivery Inspection , various features which were assured before in brochure are missing
1. 7th airbag ( knee airbag )
2. Rear fog lamp
3. Keyless passenger entry
4. Boot lamp
5. Rear passenger seatbelt indicator
6. Driver gate reflector light
7 . Heated ORVMs
Hence we are cancelling our Booking ( even after disbursing 90 % of price ) .
I hope this message goes through administrative department / senior officials
And make my process of cancellation smooth
Response from Dealership have so far been rigid , rude and non- supportive

By today only we booked w6 petrol with sunroof ....with the same above dealer ....they promised us to hand over car with in few days ...ab tak toh theek hi hain sab kuch ....waise koi khas offer ya discount nhi Diya unhone....I hope it will be a gud decision
After raising voice and bringing about the wrongdoing and miscommunication by dealership ..got 40k added discount ( with 2 features of fog lamp and boot lamp added ) ....so be aware and do proper Pre Delivery Inspection and question rather than accepting what the rest of the world is doing !

We have also booked XUV300
Diesel variant of XUV-300 is much more powerful than the petrol variant.
I think Mahindra is launching new XUV-300, which would look more like XUV-700 and new Scorpio.

you missed the monstrous manly 300NM torque of xuv 300 and the build like tank like quality of xuv 300 against the feminish buxom sexy creta. creta is just weak sheet metal work over the sedan verna engine.
you have ignore engine specs like cylinder, noise cancellation in cabin vibrations.. brother creta diesel has much less noise and vibrations than xuv 300 petrol other than that just hold the gear nob while starting engine it seems u r holding a truck nob in xuv300 .

Creta base model leke badme add-on karte raho apne hisab se, bas 2 hi problem hai, ek to gadi hi ni milti aur doosra safety, wo v gayab rahta hai. Warna creta is better option any time (in terms of space, feature, look, engine-gear performance, after sale service).
Maine charon gadi venu kia nexon mahindra ka test drive liya mujhe mahindra me hi xuv jaisa feel hua or mahindra xuv 300 w6 book kar liya.

Hyundai cretta 2020 model..I accompany my brother with his new cretta..when we visit our village area ..on slope mud road cretta unable to climb up instead its gone back and punch the Tree stem and sharp edge of tree penetrated at back..Point here is same problem I faced in suzuki swift ..even after pressing enough accelerator .both vehicle unable to generate enough torque ..
And comfort both cretta and swift both are totally flat ..you feel the roughness of the road...XUV 300 Worked completely on comfort and Torque ...
Never go for low powered Vehicles

Faced similar situation with creta in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. While visiting parshuram temple ( which is located on a hilly area) a steep slope came and creta was unable to climb it. So we had to back it up and again try with some momentum. Similar thing happened with the creta infront of us.

Excellent Comparison. Personally I would suggest Creta Base Diesel E, as it's a mid-segment SUV and Hyundai after sales service is better. Also many Features provided in XUV300 top model like Sunroof etc are practically useless here in Indian weather.
You can skip Alloy wheels for Creta and go with touch screen, roof rails etc and upgrade with a budget of 50K.

I have driven Creta diesel top end and am recently brought mahindra xuv300 top end diesel, trust me guys nothing like mahindra, just by the way the car responds.

XUV 300 stands far better than Creta ,XUV is powerfull looks as you told ,i dont agree wt u ,looks are also very good of XUV moreover Mahindra is an Indian machine ,and i gone through some news where creta,Kia broken from its centre while met with accident therefore Hundai is not safe

Please think before purchasing xuv300. I got my diesel w6 on 13 DEC and after running 518km the vehicle broke down and i had shift it to service center on 17 DEC just after 3 days. MH Customer support is pathetic. Their " with u hamesha" support is funny they just give u service center contact number of ur city. On being contacted there they will again provide u with the nearest service center number and that goes on... You have run from post to pillar to get this thing repaired. I may be unlucky with my car but please dont go after the hype and choose brands with better support. Right now the service centre guy is saying it will take 15 days to replace the failed part. I have XUV w8. Ran 51k still no issues. Indeed It is fun to drive car
Issue was resolved after four days. I had to email to the higher authorities of MH to get it repaired. Now completed around 12k. No other issues after that.
