- This video features our traditional Traditional Korean Royal Court Wedding held on Aug 20th, 2011 at the Korean War Museum. It is unique as it is the only place in Seoul organising Traditional "Royal" Wedding, others do "Prince" Wedding.
During this unique event, we received guests from over 11 nationalities, most of them coming from abroad to attend our ceremony.
There were about 40 people, including our friends, who took part of the ceremony. We send them again our warmest thanks for all of their hard work and outstanding contributions, this ceremony could not have been that grandiose without them.
If you like it, please feel free to share it on your Fb, Tw, etc...

I think that it is great that they still do this type of wedding ceremony even though Korea no longer has a royal family. It is a great way of keeping important ceremonies and traditions alive for future generations to enjoy. Thank you for sharing this video as I found it very interesting and informative!
BlackRoseRanma I think so too!
Korean government has no respect for the royal family. They strip the royal family of their wealth and the king can not even go home to his own home and they live him broke.
I'm Japanese and I have nothing against Korean culture. Korean traditional dresses are so beautiful anc colorful. I love their food, too.
thank you...i hope other japanese like you
I'm delicious sushi in japan❤🍣🍣
I've read in other comment of videos about Korean royalty that "Many of monarch family ended up marrying Japanese royalties or aristocrats, some of them still exists in Japan as royal members of Japan".
If that is true, maybe they could work in Japan as representatives of Zainichi (The korean population living in Japan), they could be spokemen for the Mindan (Korean: 민단), or the Korean Residents Union in Japan.
Of course this is just an idea I had and I'm speaking as not japanese nor korean person
Bro I am an Indian.... But I love korean culture and japanese culture both.... They are just speechless so cute so colourful, so much fun😀.... Just wow..... And the way of drinking tea in Japan is just so awesome.... When I saw it my mouth was just kept open just to say "WOW"......
In my life I am pledging here........... "THAT I WILL DEFINITELY VISIT JAPAN AND KOREA BOTH ONCE IN MY LIFE BEFORE MY DEATH"
same here... im marshallese and i do love EVERYTHING about KOREANS... i cried while watching this🥲😘🥰😍🥰😘🥰😍🥰😘😘🥰
Such a lovely couple.... Bride is beautiful and the Groom is very handsome. Blessings for a long and happy life together. Arohanui from New Zealand
You still have descendants of the Royal Family of Korea. Why not restore him to the royal court and make him a ceremonies symbol of Korea. He will unite North and South Korea.
That was exactly what i was thinking of
Yessssss
Exactly...They are a symbol of Korea's history which must be preserved but they are not doing it.
Annyeonghaseo. I'm Maori from Aotearoa New Zealand. The people of Korea are a great people. Hard working, easy to get to know. All the very best to Korea. Kamsahamnida. Noho ora mai Korea (be well Korea).

궁중혼례! You have Korean traditional wedding ceremony movie. Wow... I just have one present wedding movie, I guess mine is a kind of standard style in these days in Korea. 저는 아직 전통 궁중 혼례식에 참석해본 적이 없어서 흥미롭게 보았습니다. I've never seen the traditional style wedding with my sight yet, even though I'm a Korean. So it was very interesting to me. Thanks a lot.
just beautiful!
This is so lovely I like there hanbok it very pretty
nice thanks for sharing...congratulatios!
Had so much fun cant wait to see you at me and haileys
I wonder how much does it costs to conduct this grand wedding ceremony

Wondeful
deabak! wish my wedding is like this...🥰🥰😍😍🥰🥰😍😍🥰🥰ssanghae
I hope the true royalties will be given such honor as this. It so sad thinking what happened. But I think they are living peacefully as ordinary citizen rather than abiding to the strict rules of the palace.
But I don't think he would be happy cause as I heard or read he wanted to go back to his home or his palace but was denied entry. Who would be happy if you are denied entry out of your own home?
❤❤❤
lovely wedding I probably cried if was me
ja ja j... I can imaging it.. if I were there with my friend Sedrick, This will happened,,, Me: are you really cry ? stop cry don't be a baby and be happy for them '_'. Sedrick :, yes, but you are cry and it making me cry . Me: Yes, I am cry because you are making me cry even more. v_v ! ( both cry and happy for the couple ) Then.. Me: you are not cry only because they are happy, you cry because you still have find your true love? '-'. Sedrick : yes, and I know you are cry because the same reason as well..! -_-. Me : yes..v_v... lol it would be funny. I am really happy for them ^-^
Beautiful royal wedding. Wonder how much it costed. Wouldn’t be surprised if it were 1mil+.
I am here after watching last empress drama
Magnifique. La restitution de la monarchie qu'est le symbole de Corée sera la victoire incontestable du peuple coréen.
The clothings look very similar to Chinese. Your traditional clothing looks very elegant.
The real king of korea, wow
Did the current crown prince Andrew lee wed like this ?
What language were the parents speaking?
Pernikahan korea yg sesungguhnya...
Luar biasa, salut dengan kedua mempelai.
So this is real? Congratulations♥️
🇰🇷❤️✨
Yi seong gye has entered the chat ..
Princess hours drama...
BTW why her/his mum were speaking Freanch?
Yeah, I also confussed
are they a real king and queen? I love Korean culture. I really want to learn korean. I am chinese
the hanboks are also really amazing
nope there are not king and queen in Korea now. it is just demonstration
No, sadly the royal family of Korea was destroyed by the Japanese Empire and by president Syngman Rhee. The royal family struggled a lot.
The real royal family is spread out over the world right now the last known place of a korean princess was in America in New York I think and she is really old now. The next is there is one royal that went back to korea. Where he is here I’m not sure but he is a prince. Other then that I’m not sure where the rest are. My husband said he has paperwork that shows him part of the family but like nephew or some King’s great great grandson something like that. So there are royals out there just not recognized anymore.

Korean kings are not allowed to wear anything yellow. Yellow color is for an Emperor in Asian culture and Korean kings were never emperors.
Yes, emperor Dangun/Tangun 2333 BC, Book of Wei - Legendary founder of Korea - google it.
No, weak Korean kingdoms were bullied by China for 1000 years. They were pressured to be tributary states to China. So, no emperor, no yellow clothes - China's rule for Korean kings.
There's no emperor in China anymore. The communist China got rid of him.
Korea has no more kingdom. Japan got rid of it during the colonization of Korea.
Japan still has a emperor who is partly Korean lineage.
dudadeda1234 im sorry for spamming but does anyone know the music stating at 3:17 i love it! It's so beautiful
+Jeffrey Huang lol Our Vietnamese king alway wear yellow clothing.
Jeffrey Huang if you say 朝鮮王朝(choson dynasty) it is true but goryo(before mongol invasion) goguryo balhae backje it is not true
dudadeda1234
Yeah right search the three kingdoms, specially Goguryeo, it will become empire.

My only dream to get married with Korean 🥰🥰
Well, the Choson royal court does hired a lot of Caucasians. Just kidding.
Tributary state of China.
If one day the 2 koreas unify back again surely they should seriously consider reinstating the most closest pretender back to becoming a constitutional king, otherwise S.korea on its own could actually do that to revive the korean monarchy.
They are real king and queen...this is a real court wedding....
No it's not??
I know that this comment was written years ago, yet I'll still reply lol
No, it's not a real royal wedding.
it is a demonstration. I'm sure it is.
I have a friend who is Korean royalty, I learned recently.
lovely
