As usual, your enthusiasm is infectious :). The trick for me with Folded Space is to use a strong white glue that dries clear. I put it on with a toothpick. Dry fitting is essential. If you are worried about forgetting which surfaces get the glue after you start putting it together, consider drawing light lines, using the dry fit as a guide, and wherever there's a line, you put some glue. Glue goes wherever two surfaces meet. If you dry fit it again and any of the lines show, you might have drawn one too long or in the wrong place. It's really not that hard, but it is a spatial reasoning challenge when you first start. I have had Gloomhaven in a Folded Space insert for years and it has held up under THAT challenge. It's good stuff.
