  • When you first start learning how to make polymer clay canes it's best to start with the basics, like bulls eyes and skinner blend plugs. One of those basic canes is the polymer clay jellyroll cane.
The jellyroll cane is used in many other techniques and is an essential building block in your polymer clay journey. In this tutorial I'll be showing you how to make a basic jellyroll cane and some of the things you can create with it from kaleidoscopes to Jellyroll Mokume Gane.

Hello... You may have talked about this in another video .... But wondered if you have tried Fimo Professional (not sure that is the correct name)
But I have heard that a cane can be cut pretty much right after making it, and it does seem to cut with little to no distortion.
Wondered if you found that to be true or other thoughts on it ?!

Do you use the 2 oz bar or the 8 ounce? Also how long do you let them rest and do you wrap them up in plastic while resting?
