This is one of my favourite ever yachts. It's not a "Bering/Nordhaven/Flemming" type explorer, it's more of a "Mediterranean/Caribbean" explorer. If you want a globetrotter, go elsewhere. But if you want to explore a fun part of the world, oh my goodness this has so much. Fuel efficiency. Twin anchors. VAST deck space. Opening WALLS of glass. Actual marble throughout the cabins. This is a 7 star hotel you can drive yourself for hundreds of miles and anchorage-overs.
I believe that this yacht company was built by long time professional yacht owner/captain/builders. I think it's unique because it's designed by people who lived on yachts everyday. And it shows ! ❤
Aye, though much larger than the BGX60. The "63" is just a 3 foot bathing extension, the hull is designed as a 60 footer. Full flybridge. And the loss of the foredeck pushed forward puts even more space aft. I love the BGX63 and think it might be more manageable short-handed, but this beast just towers over it
Tony, I like your yacht tours -- they are thorough and informative. But I don't always find the yachts impressive. This Explorer 62 fails in so many ways. The salon consists of a single sofa in a narrow passageway -- not exactly adequate for a group of six guests. The combo pilothouse/galley also falls short -- the galley does not have anywhere near enough storage for food and cooking gear for a party of six on a two week cruise, and the helm does not even have space for a helm seat. The galley sink abuts the helm console -- can you imagine the disaster waiting when a cook tries to drain a big pot of some hot liquid in a rough seaway and the hot liquid splashes all over the console? I couldn't believe a yachtmaker would subject guests to wet heads in a 62-foot yacht. Having to dry off the lid over the loo after a shower and dropping trousers onto a wet floor when you sit on the loo? Not good. Wet heads are usually found only in boats under about 35 feet. The engine space looked incredibly cramped. One of the Volvo's looked utterly inaccessible under the dinghy bin. How can they call it an explorer yacht with just 650 mile range? Loved the tour, but not the yacht. Thanks,
Nice yacht. Italian yachts are generally not my type, but I really like the quality in the cabins. Not a fan of the 'bridge+galley' combination. Stabilizers are always good.
They crash test these by swinging the side of the yacht into a wall. That's crazy to see. I saw when Tristan had this yacht on his channel and the owner's son was there who did no favors to his dad's company by being arrogant, prideful and narcissistic. He did talk about the unique features of the yacht, which make it sound cool, but I would consider this a Med Explorer. Meant to explore ports, and maybe not go into them, but they are pretty nice.
Geez Tony, long day filming those yachts, you need your energy and focus...some AG1 wouod probably help. Maybe a meal from Factor or Hello Fresh. And if you get mad that you haven't cracked 55k subscribers yet, and threw your phone against a steel hulled yacht, it woukd be fine if it was in. Rokform case! And that attitude...Better Help sounds good for you. Lol. Trying to get you an ad! Yeah I know that isn't how it works, but I'm trying. You should team up with Roman Sharf or the CRM Jewlers guys. They coukd supply you weekly with a new watch and since we know there are some extremely wealthy people watching your videos....they give you a code to use. I never understood why the watch UA-camrs didn't sponsor the yacht UA-camrs, symbiotic and a total win for everyone, maybe take séke the risk. BUT it doee make sense since yacht owners or perspective owners watxh your xhannel and they have money.
lol I appreciate that Clif. I’ve had offers for sponsors from some of the companies you’ve mentioned but I’ve been reluctant to do any ads still. Maybe in the future we will incorporate some. For now I want to continue on growing the channel!

It’s not going to work for everyone, but it’s a very great choice for someone who likes this style!
Looks great! That color is just right. Edit: don’t want a toilet in my shower.

I like the color of this yacht
2012 Bering 60 has two anchor system. Beyond that nice yacht.
This is an absolute work of art & clearly designed to be owner operated.
Absolutely!
Shes a beauty.
Very innovative design, makes it seem a much bigger yacht.
Reminds me a bit of the BGX63 in that regard.
Good tour, thanks 👍

@darthkek1953 Agreed 👍

lol we tried! Thanks for watching!
you can definitely see the quality every where you look, really nice colours and finishes and a nice layout. Great tour Tony thank you.
It’s my pleasure!

This is an amazing yatch. Even up here in the lochs of Scotland it would be a superb cruiser
Sexy boat, but it's more of a coastal cruiser than an explorer.
That’s fair. They really went direct with naming as the company is called Explorer Yacht. Great 60’ yacht though!
@@YachtAddiction I thought the company was LOY (Luxury Ocean Yacht) and this is the name of the range?
Nice

Can they add a mini spa pool?
It will be perfect.
