I absolutely love your channel. The way you explain what you are doing with each change in setup makes things so understandable. You are greatly appreciated.
This car fully upgraded is so fast out of the corners but it doesn’t steer under throttle. Then it lift oversteers like a helicopter. It’s like the devs said “we heard Porsches sometimes oversteer” and then made it only do that
Thank you so much for the setting I was about to sell the car and forget about this car until I watched and used your setting and wow what a difference your setting make a big difference and this is the first time I drove on Nurburgring without crashing Thanks!
I happen to be a German native speaker and I appreciate the "Falsche Motorplatzierung" tuning sheet. It's just true for these cars, I started playing GT7 recently (pausing since my PS3 days), this time without assists inspired by your channel and even a highly praised GT3 RS without much power added is a handful to drive (liftoff oversteer!), but just small diff tweaks as described here for many cars made all the difference.
This is my favorite car ever (hence my username) and it was unrully. its so much fun, but it was radically different from most cars. this video finally made it stable to drive
Great video. I literally did a full upgrade two days ago. Wheelies WTF!?!? I ended up using almost full ballast. I am at 750pp and so far , on Grand Valley, I can drive without crashing. Thank you again
I'm not sure it'll work on the 959, but reducing the front expansion and increasing the rear compression on the shocks can help dramatically with mid/rear-engined cars with bad lift-off oversteer. There's just one small problem: there seems to be a bug that causes the rear wheels to oscillate horribly at low speeds if you set the rear compression too high, which paradoxically induces massive understeer on top of vibrating the hell out of your controller. This is particularly annoying on the 911s, because the value that's too high is quite literally anything above minimum stiffness.
I still think it was programmed the wrong way. When the 959 was launched, on press day, Porsche representatives urged journalists to go over 300kph on the Autobahn, they were that confident. In public traffic. And rightly so, the press confirmed: it was a rock, even at factory spec with normal tyres. If anything, it acquired a name for not being exciting enough next to the F40. In the game it's a wily beast, whereas the F40 is totally dependable. Doesn't compute. They just got it wrong. And that worries me. What else did PD get wrong? I've found out a few things where setup in the game doesn't relate to real life, but I've only scratched the surface.
The most obvious example of PD getting it wrong is the Plymouth Superbird, mainly because the car was designed for high-speed stability on the oval tracks. That giant rear wing has been proven to generate downforce, and in GT7, not only is the car completely impossible to drive even with a modern suspension, chassis reinforcement and better tyres, but it also has no downforce, nor any option to add some at the rear. Total oversight.
Hmm I thought it should be a rally car for dirt tracks rather than asphalt ones. Have you tried a rally build? Cause I don’t have that much credits to buy it.
@@fossilfueled27got you. It just says it’s a rally car in the Learn More menu about the car. That must be the reason why it doesn’t handle well on road tracks. Aggressive sliding behavior must suit rally as well.
@@zest01 The road car was engineered as perfectly as it could be for road use in the 1980's. Porsche were so proud of it, they encouraged reviewers at the time to drive it as fast as possible because of how confident they were in its stability.
I swear 95% of the cars on this game have near incurable lift-off oversteer, and it’s complete fecking bollocks. Maybe PD and Kaz need to concentrate more on improving physics instead of adding another 1500hp EV pile of shit no one cares about.
Every evening I go outside, sit down and watch another Fossil Fuel video.
Oh i know that 😊

Much appreciated
Keep doing your thing man. Most instructive channel that I've found so far for gt7

Thank you 🙂👍... i was waiting for this. Again a great Job!

One of the most interesting monsters so far imo, I've always like the 959
I'm enjoying these vids.
Subbed after the Trans AM video.
Might have to go back and watch the others.
Thanks for your time.
Oooh it’s notes comparison time again. Will report back. This is honestly one of my favorite cars to drive.
Thank you thank you thank you! Just purchased this car and started tweaking it . And this is going to make it a blast!!!!
The Porsche 918 Spyder has the 4-wheel steering and I have it tuned where I feel like driving in Gymkhana! LoL very very fun when executed correctly!
This is one of those cars where mods make it WORSE. In stock form it's a sweetheart to drive!
Braking while turning in this car results in massive oversteer, same with the new911 turbo 2020.
I loved the 959 in project cars but just cant get it feeling the same in gt7, i can only imagine how poorly it does with the LS
Another w Fossil Fueled video. I'd love to see a video on the 308 GTB, I'm having trouble making mine not bounce like a crack addicted kangaroo
Thank you so much. My 959 is so much enjoyable at 650PP. But I still got steering wheel G29 shaking like crazy when accelerating. Is that normal?

you should do the Fairlady Z with the LS swap!
I tuned my 959 to 700pp its not to bad around the lemans circuit
Justo ayer competía con ese auto en "clubman+" de ruta X (tiene 850Hp)
Please do the camaro zl1 2017 ive been having constant problems with oversteer
Where did PD go wrong about this?
I really wanted to use the 959, but it's damn near impossible, just like the Gallardo. I have Vr2 and the car just wants to kill you
I don't think it will let me wide body this car ! I tried last night but wasn't an option.
LMFAO 😂..... A bit Shit really!!! Please keep these videos coming
Hmm I thought it should be a rally car for dirt tracks rather than asphalt ones. Have you tried a rally build?
Cause I don’t have that much credits to buy it.
I don't really bother with rally much. If there were more tracks, I'd certainly be giving it more of a go.

Shouldn't u be running a control lap around nurb before making any adjustments to show that your changes did in fact improve the car
The car would barely make the first sector without adjustments. I would hope you can see the improvement in the video.
Can you try the Nissan skyline r34 please
How you get £36m credits? :(
That thing is a absolut shitbasket of a car, and I like Porsche a lot usualy.
Easily the worst handling car in the game, that lift off braking oversteer is completely unhinged, bro show us the way I wona drive this more often
Good effort, shame the car is still poop after all your efforts.
That particular vehicle is a piece of 💩 can't believe no matter what you do to it,it's still a pile of 💩💯

Priorities, right?
Why is there so much delay in the steering wheel animation?
