I hate driving in Boca!!! I moved from PA where the driving is very easy and then I got here and it’s always backed up and there’s horrible drivers. It scares me! But I wouldn’t trade living here, it’s so beautiful.

I was thinking about moving to West Boca. The traffic for me can't be that bad considering here in alabama I-65 and I-20 are nightmares almost all times of day so that won't be a concern. But I'm glad to know West Boca has lots of wildlife.

Live in Boca. Don’t work in Boca. However, it’s always hot and raining. Over 30 years hear. It gets cold, maybe, 3 days of the year under 60. Move me out, or give a quote, please?

I love the humidity, tropical weather with beaches, palm trees, and a great night life with nice people. South Florida seems perfect to me, but that’s just my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
Pretty funny that people there think the traffic is bad. We have peak hours in NYC not rush hour it lasts 12 hours day plus! Traffic can be grid locked for 5 hours to go one block. People dont take the subway if they dont have to any more since the police were defunded. People are getting stabbed on the subways and rates run around freely. (more so than before) Unless you sit in traffic for 5 hours a day to go 20 minutes your traffic is not bad What is bad is the humidity though. I agree with you on hurricanes but I have heard you can lose power for a week to 2 weeks in a real hurricane.
Living in Fort Lauderdale yea but when I turn 18 I want to get a job at Disney world, where I represent Norway for 1 year and get to live in Florida for 1 year. If I’m lucky Mby I can get a full time job in Florida? It’s a lot of nice places in Norway, trollveggen is a very nice place with huge mountains! There is a place called Geiranger and there you can ride a boat and they drive through Geiranger and explain things that have happened and different facts, but I’m only 15 years old so it was not that exciting for me, but maybe more exciting for you as a adult. Trollstigen is a very nice place. troll stigen is a very nice place where you drive zigzag up the mountain and it’s a very nice view and nice nature. Norway has a lot of nice places just search for nice places in Norway and it will come up.

It depends on where in boca and where in Miami but from the time you get on the highway, probably about 2 hrs to be safe. Outside of rush hour, you’d make it down to Miami in about 45 mins.
Hey! I have a question. I’m considering moving to Florida, currently living in California. About the hurricanes: is there a high risk of damaging the house? What it actually happens when a hurricane hits this particular area? I’m afraid of losing everything if I move there...
+Amanda Sbeghen there is certainly a risk of damage caused by hurricanes. But there are preventative measures you can and should do to limit the risk as much as possible. In one of my other videos, I mentioned that we know pretty far in advance when these storms are possibly heading our way. Which gives us plenty of time to do things such as put shutters over our windows and make sure trees are trimmed back away from the roof. Another thing is, most homes nowadays will have hurricane straps which provide extra security for your homes roof to be able to withstand 100+ mph winds. If by chance something does happen, your insurance should cover it. I also want to note that over my 30 years of being in south Florida, no home that I’ve lived in has sustained and major damage from a storm. The most common damage is going to be landscaping.

I currently live in Oregon and when I visited down in South Florida, it was really nice! Highly recommend! But if you can’t handle the humidity and potential risk of tropical storms, then it’s best to move somewhere else or stay where you are. However, I really want to move down there. Love the tropical weather!

Boca Raton is boring no night life and the food is no good. Those are the only negatives. . It’s great to raise a family , safer than most other cities, great parks , golfing , schools ,beaches etc. . The city does a great job with the up keep. The police and fire departments are great. Overall it’s the best city to live in South Florida.
I’m about 99% sure I’ve been to several get together as at the house you showed a pic for , your house I believe. It has the pool/waterfall with the hot tub separate and the Hawaii style bar n grill. That’s defray beach off of Congress ave right ?

Could be! Come visit for a while and see if it fits your lifestyle. I can say the public schools in Boca are good. We do have a lot of agents here in South Florida but a lot of them aren't very active.
You forgot the large population of old people who complain and just get satisfaction out of making everyone as miserable as themselves. Crime isn’t so bad as long as your gated in with 24/7 security In the northeast we leave our cars unlocked without much worry. The weather and the food is about it. The rest is way overrated.

It's all relative. I'm working with quite a few people from Cali right now & they all say the same thing because they are used to prices in California. But when I talk to people from the midwest, they almost always comment on how expensive they think it is. Prices have changed quite a bit from when I made this video but I'm seeing that almost everywhere in the country right now. Year over year, some areas are seeing almost a 30% increase in sales prices.

You have to get flood and wind insurance. They are serious.
Good luck getting out of Florida if a Hurricane hits. Traffic is INSANE. You're stuck.
Not that big of a risk outside the flood insurance zones. Been here 22 years. It hasn’t been bad since Katrina in 2005.

I’ve never been but my wife absolutely loved her time in Ireland. We plan to take a trip sometime but who knows when with all this COVID stuff still going on.
I currently live in Oregon and when I visited down in South Florida, it was really nice! Highly recommend! But if you can’t handle the humidity and potential risk of tropical storms, then it’s best to move somewhere else or stay where you are. However, I really want to move down there. Love the tropical weather!

Boca Raton is boring no night life and the food is no good. Those are the only negatives. .
It’s great to raise a family , safer than most other cities, great parks , golfing , schools ,beaches etc. .
The city does a great job with the up keep.
The police and fire departments are great. Overall it’s the best city to live in South Florida.

Schools are good in Boca but everybody is a realtor there.
Could be! Come visit for a while and see if it fits your lifestyle. I can say the public schools in Boca are good. We do have a lot of agents here in South Florida but a lot of them aren't very active.

It's all relative. I'm working with quite a few people from Cali right now & they all say the same thing because they are used to prices in California. But when I talk to people from the midwest, they almost always comment on how expensive they think it is. Prices have changed quite a bit from when I made this video but I'm seeing that almost everywhere in the country right now. Year over year, some areas are seeing almost a 30% increase in sales prices.
