- I bought and tried three Korean arcade stick levers! Two of them are from Crown (Samducksa) with help from popular Tekken player Helpme. The other lever is from IST, creators of the Makestick Pro arcade stick case, more in line with selling levers than making them.

As Tekken player who plays Mishimas I gotten interest in Korean Joysticks for while so I picked up the 303FK/A and 307JMS-ST way back, but the problem is they feel inconsistent in my movement. I can't wait to try out the 309MJ. The 25-30 tension is the sweetspot giving that soft feel and less fatigue.
I felt the same way with the 303fk too. That's why I decided to get rid all of my Crown sticks. I really hope the 309 model is much better.
Nice! Looking forward to your review of it. I've been deciding whether or not to get it. Hopefully the 309MJ has that true Myoungshin Fanta feel.

Yeah! The Myoungshin is 50 shore tension. Looking forward to it!
309 is usually for tekken and good for diagonal movements whilst the kaze lever is better for mishimas as it has a good neutral input
Does a low collar fit into a Japanese stick with out needing to use power tools to cut into it?
Sure does, I got a Hori Rap 4 Kai about 2 weeks ago, and modded the Hayabusa lever out for a Crown 309MJ korean lever and it fit perfectly.

Will the half-collar 309MJ fit into a case with a small Sanwa hole, or does the collar need to pop out a larger 35mm hole like the fanta? Does this mean my upgrade is limited to only the 309HelpMe-Sanwa version?
I'd really like a demo video on how Korean sticks with neck collars (or half-collars) are installed. Most installation videos only show the bottom side of the stick without showing a preview of the top part.

@@zpl68 The Crown 309MJ is designed to fit in Japanese cases. It will fit in a case with a small Sanwa/Hori hole.
You can also get the Crown Helpme on focusattack.com, they have some in stock right now actually. They also sell Fanta levers. If they are out of stock when you read this, just sign up for the email when they get them back in stock and you'll be alerted. Good luck!
Does the 309MJ lever use the collar for restriction or does the lever shaft bang against the fights stick case? I'm thinking of installing one in my panthera evo after some work

Can FLF-ST use phreaksmod? Also, how does it feel if compared to 309MJ, I am coming from a Sanwa JLF background, never had a korean stick, but don't wanna waste away my Phreaksmod
What does he mean when the FLF "felt a bit too loose?" like the stick not returning to neutral as fast? much like those jlf's?

This is the setup i have right now and it's great. But you need to shave some off some of the internal plastic before it'll fit properly.

The A2's are more sensitive and better. Probably the best switches on the market

I just bought a CWL 309 and i have a very hard time hitting diagonals, any tips?
When did you buy it ? Panasonic stopped making switches that came with the original 309. The current 309s are being sold with the Gersungs A2's switches and it results in a horrible combination resulting in many ppl missing their diagonals. The new stock coming in for FA is going to have A3 switches which should solve the problem.
Contact the store you bought this from. They might be able to send you new A3 switches.

Is 309mj compatibile with TE2+?
Yup, just put one in the same stick. Plenty of room to work with in that case, no issues. Feels awesome.
